Chapter Sixty-Two

Brooklyn

I looked over myself in the mirror. The dress I had on just wasn't me, it was too fitted.

Walking out of the room I went and stood in front of the girls and my dad.

"Well, what do you think about it?" Katelynne asked.

"It's a beautiful dress just it isn't for me. The dress is to fitting."

Everyone agreed and I went back in the room with the lady.

She helped me into the next dress, which was the one my dad picked out.

When I got it on, I gasped.

The dress was so gorgeous, it was a sweetheart sleeveless strapless tulle beaded lace

appliques.

I started to tear up and wiped my eyes.

Walking out of the room and back over to everyone, I heard gasps.

"It's so pretty!" Emily said.

"You look so gorgeous Brooklyn!" Aleah, Brittany, and Katelynne said at the same time

which made everyone laugh.

I turned around and looked at my dad, "So, daddy what do you think?"

He stood up and walked over to me. David grabbed my hand and spun me around.

"Brooklyn, you look like the princess you are." David said and kissed my head.

I wrapped my arms around him and cried.

"Thank you."

"So, are you getting this dress!" Brittany asked.

I nodded, "Yes!"

Everyone got up and hugged me.

Now onto the food and wine testing.

Tux shopping was over, I had what I needed and so did all the guys.

I was now with my dad to meet up with Brooklyn and David for the food tasting and

wine and whatever else there is.

"So how does it feel to be almost married? It's next month." My dad asked as we pulled

up at the place and sat in the car waiting for Brooklyn and David.

"It feels surreal you know? I was married once and it didn't work out so great but this

time everything just feels different. I love Brooklyn and like without her I don't know I

would feel empty."

My dad nodded, "That's how I felt about your mother. Especially when she passed away

I was empty and I felt so alone."

"That's how I felt when Brooklyn was taken. All I could think about was her and if she

was okay or sadly the worst possible thing and I didn't know what to do. I felt so alone

and I didn't even feel like myself you know?"

My dad and I talked for a little whole longer before we saw a car pull up next to us.

"Carlile!" I heard my favorite voice yell.

Smiling, I got out of the car and opened my arms just as she jumped into them..

"I missed you!" Brooklyn said and kissed me.

I kissed her back, "I missed you more princess! Did you pick out a dress?"

Brooklyn nodded and got down off of me going over to my dad and gave him a hug with

a kiss on the cheek

"Hello David." I said and gave him hug.

"Hey Austin."

I grabbed Brooklyn's hand and walked into the restaurant.

"Let me go get Kyle." David said and walked into the back as we sat down at one of the

tables.

A minute later David came out with a guy who was short, well everyone is short to me.

"This is Kyle and friend of mine as well as one of the best chief, baker, you name it."

"Now where is the lovely couple." Kyle said and he had a thick accent.

I stood up and shook his hand, "I'm Austin and this is my fiancée Brooklyn."

Stepping back I let Brooklyn shake his hand and we all sat back down.

"So what were you guys thinking about doing for the menu?"

I looked at Brooklyn, "I don't know what are you thinking babe?"

"Um, I'm not sure either. I think just something that everyone would like to have."

Kyle nodded and he started showing us what he was thinking about for the wedding.

Brooklyn and I basically agreed and then we tried the wine.

The first two made Brooklyn nauseous, but she liked the last three.

We agreed on the menu and the wine then we walked back outside.

"Thank you for coming with us!" Brooklyn said and gave my dad and David a hug.

Brooklyn and I got in the car and went home.

I was honestly just ready for the wedding so Brooklyn and I could relax for a little then

get back into our crazy world.

This was cute! So more insider into the wedding. Next chapter is going to be them flying out to where the wedding is and then the chapter after that will be the wedding cause I need the wedding to happen and then my story line will fall into place! Leave some feedback and keep reading!
