Chapter Forty-Five

Austin

When Emily woke me up this morning and told me what she saw I didn't want to

believe her.

Would Brooklyn really cut? I mean I was here for her, why didn't she come to me?

I walked back into the bunk area and climbed into her bunk.

"Brooklyn." I said shaking her some.

She groaned and turned over pulling the blanket up over her head.

I smiled some and shook her again.

"Carlile, I swear there better be a good reason for waking me up this early." She said.

I pulled the blanket off of Brooklyn and she looked up at me.

"Brooklyn I need you to be honest with me."

Brooklyn nodded, "Okay?"

"Emily woke up in the middle of the night last night. She got up and was going to grab

water but a light from the bathroom stopped her." I said and Brooklyn looked nervous.

"She checked to see who was in the bathroom and Emily said she saw you. With a blade

in your hands, and your legs and hands bloody."

Brooklyn looked down at her hands and bit her lip.

"Brooklyn, did you cut?" I asked grabbing her hands.

She nodded and looked up at me as she started crying.

I wrapped my arms around her and tired to get her to relax

"Why did you do that? I was here you could have woke me up and I would have been

there for you."

"I was going to but I couldn't bother you with this. Seeing that guy just left me uneasy."

She said.

I shook my head, "Brooklyn he will not touch you."

She pushed me back and climbed over me getting out of the bunk.

When I followed her out, all of her band was awake in the front and Emily,

I had a feeling we were about to fight.

"Yeah, well Austin if you fucking forgot he already did! Apparently he was fucking paid

to get me so you wanna know what I could careless about you saying he won't do this or

do that but right now all I keep thinking about is him taking me!" Brooklyn yelled.

"Brooklyn! Myself, the bands, and your dad are all here to help you! We are making

sure that there are security guards around all the time!"

She rolled her eyes and flipped me off.

I sighed.

She was pissed off and I would let her calm down before doing anything else.
