Chapter Thirty-Four

Hmmm I see Brooklyn has taken in a little girl.

I wonder if I will get paid more, if I take them both?

-Brooklyn-

I had just finished making cookies when Emily came in.

"Um Brooklyn?" Emily whispered sitting at the island.

"Yes sweetheart?" I asked walking over to the island leaning against it.

"I just wanted to know what is going to happen to me? Am I going to a foster home? What

happens when my parents find me?" Emily asked looking scared as she rubbed her arm.

I walked over and wrapped my arms around her.

"Emily, I can promise you that you won't be alone through this. Your parents won't find you

my dad and Austin are working on something for you right now and you will not go to a

foster home if I have anything to do with it. My dad is looking for some relatives of yours." I

said and rubbed her back.

Emily nodded and wrapped her arms around me, "Thank you Brooklyn."

"Of course. Now come with me and I will show you where you will be sleeping for your stay

with Austin and I."

I got up and Emily followed me upstairs.

"Okay this is a guest room, and one more on this side. Austin and I's room is at the end the

double door and a bathroom at the other side as well as another guest room."

Emily nodded as I opened the one closest to Austin and I's room.

"This will be your room, there is a desk because I'm going to look for some books and

everything to homeschool you if you don't mind?" I asked looking at her.

Emily smiled some, "Thank you."

I smiled, "Of course! Okay there is a desk, a dresser, a walk-in closet, a tv of course, and a

bathroom."

I watched Emily walk around the room, but then she ran over and hugged me.

"Thank you again Brooklyn."

"It's really nothing sweetheart now my friend Aleah is bringing some clothes over tomorrow

morning but I laid one of my shirts, shorts and sweats on the bed if you want to wear them."

Emily nodded, "May I take a shower?"

"Oh yes!"

I walked out of the room into Austin and I's room seeing him walk out of the bathroom with a

towel wrapped around his waist.

"How was showing her the room?" He asked walking into the closet.

I shrugged, "She seemed really happy and I told her about homeschooling her."

Austin came out in boxers and pulled on his sweats.

"That is smart I never thought about doing that. So what if your dad can't find relatives in

time for the tour?"

Hmmmm, I never thought about that.

"Well she can come on tour. We have enough room in our tour bus and you stay over on my

bus and if I stay over on your's I know Aleah will watch her and the guys, mine and your's,

will just have to get used to her."

"I'm sure the guys will love her, it just means I will have to up the security."

I nodded and wrapped my arms around his waist, "You know I love you so much. You are

such an amazing man, Austin."

"I love you more Brooklyn. What you did for Emily was amazing."

I smiled and kissed him.

Austin put his hands on my face and kissed me back.

We got in bed and cuddle.

Around 10, Austin and I got up going into Emily's room to see her looking out of the window.

"Hello Emily." Austin said and Emily turned around looking at us

"Hi Austin, Brooklyn."

"Now if you need anything just knock or even come in our room and we will be there for you

okay? You can come to us." I said.

Emily smiled and got up running over to us as she hugged both of us.

"Thank you both so much for taking me in and taking me away from my parents. I never

thought I would get out of there. Brooklyn and Austin, I promise I will try to stop cutting!"

Emily said and started crying.

"Shhh it's okay Emily." Austin said and wrapped his arms around her.

I motioned for Austin to pick her up and carry her to her bed.

"Emily, it's okay just relax honey. How about Austin sings to you? I know it always helps

me." I said looking at her.

Emily nodded, "Will you both sing to me?"

I looked at Austin and we nodded.

I started to sing Pierce the Veil's, Hold On Till May, and Austin joined me.

After singing through it once Emily fell asleep.

Austin tucked her in and we both kissed her forehead, closing the door some.

We left our door open and got in bed.

"You know, Emily is starting to grow on me." Austin whispered pulling me closer to him.

I smiled, "I knew she would."

Austin hummed, My Understandings, and I closed my eyes falling asleep.

Emily and Austin have probably been the best things to happen in my life and I knew that

they meant everything to me. If I lost them I had no clue what I would do without them.
