Chapter Twenty-Two

Brooklyn

We just finished one of our songs and I stopped so everyone could rest and drink for a

minute.

"Okay are you fucking liking this show?" I yelled.

The crowd screamed so loud.

"Awesome! Okay well I have some friends who are here who you might know. Do you

know Memphis May Fire?" I smiled, hearing them scream.

"Do you know Sleeping with Sirens?" Even more screaming.

"Do you know All Time Low?" Loud as hell.

"What about Pierce the Veil?" This place was fucking insane.

"Alright, you may not know this last band but I mean who does? Do you fucking know

Of Mice & Men?" It was so fucking loud that I thought my ear drums would burst.

"Well they are here and I know they will come out eventually. So did you know someone

is here who I haven't talked to since I was 17, remind you I am 24 now."

Boos echoed and I smiled knowing that they were so heartfelt.

"Yeah, I don't like it either but enough of being down."

Drew played a chord to You Only Live Once by Suicide Silence and everyone screamed.

"Okay here is this next song, you all know it. This is by one of my great friends and my

brother Mitch. Um this is always hard to play but as you all have noticed we sing it at all

shows because Mitch was everything to me like he was to all of you and Jolie and

Kenadee. He was my big brother and this song was right and it was made for Mitch."

I motioned for everyone to be quiet and no music was playing.

I looked up and put my finger to my nose and pointed at the sky, something Mitch and I

always did.

"You Only Live Once So Just Go Fucking Nuts!" I screamed and everything fell into

place, the music, the jumping, the moshing, the screaming.

This is where I was meant to be and I know Mitch was looking down on me.

It was so funny watch Brooklyn announce that all of us were here.

Everyone one was so fucking pumped, even though I wasn't on stage I could feel

everything pumping through my veins.

But I knew that Brooklyn was in a hard spot even if she doesn't want to admit it.

Her mother being here is affect her mentally and talking about Mitch was affecting her.

It really bothers me when she doesn't talk it out.

But, I saw her scream those beginning lines of You Only Live Once, and I knew

everything would be okay.

At least I hope.

Hmmm she really is pretty.

I can see her boyfriend watching her and smiling, aw such a happy couple.

At least for now.

Cause soon she will be mine and I will get my money's worth.
