Chapter Thirteen

Brooklyn

I sat down on the couch and kept my eyes on the ground waiting for the interview to

start.

"Hello everyone! I'm Mike and today I am interviewing a very fast up and coming band.

They have been amazing on warped and every other show they have played! So I'm glad

to introduce The End of Time. Can you please state your name and what you do in the

band."

Chris: Hey, I'm Chris and I play guitar.

Matthew: Sup, I'm Matthew and I play drums.

Aleah: Ello, I'm Aleah and I sing and play guitar.

Drew: Hi, I'm Drew and I play bass

Me: Hey y'all, I'm Brooklyn and a I sing, scream, and play guitar.

Mike: Well I'm very glad to have you all here. So how has warped been?

Aleah: It's been great! Brooklyn and I have been getting mobbed by fans and the boys

are getting mobbed by the ladies. But besides that I think it's going well.

Chris: Yeah I agree. It's different then other shows and each time we perform it seems

like our crowd is getting bigger.

Mike: That's very nice. Okay so we are going to play a game this or that. First one Coke

or Pepsi

Drew: Coke

Aleah: Pepsi

Matthew: Coke

Chris: Coke

Me: Mountain Dew, wait isn't that a Pepsi product?

Mike: I believe so. Day or Night.

Drew: Day

Matthew: Day

Aleah: Day

Chris: Eh depends on how I'm feeling

Me: Night

Mike: Okay you guys might be the only group that like a majority agrees but one person.

We all laughed.

Mike: So Brooklyn, I see you have been hanging out with Austin Carlile. What's up with

that?

I knew it was coming and I could feel all eyes on me.

I shrugged. "He's really cool to hang out with. An amazing down to earth guy and he

just has something that draws me to him."

Drew: Yeah and that takes a lot.

Everyone agreed.

Mike: Any chance you might date soon

Me: Maybe, maybe not. Who knows what the future holds.

We finished up with the interview and were on our way to the stage to perform.

"So is something really going on between you and Austin?" Chris asked while

strumming on his guitar.

"I mean, I don't know. He hasn't asked me out or anything so maybe it's just like a

friend thing for now." I said while jumping up and down.

Chris laughed, "Sweetheart friends don't just kiss each other."

I rolled my eyes and flipped him off just as our music began to play.

Everyone came over real quick and we did our little ritual.

Matthew ran out and started drumming, then Drew and Chris, then Aleah.

Aleah started singing some without anyone backing her up and I took a deep breath.

I played some chords standing out of the sight of the stage and the crowd went crazy.

I ran out and jumped up on a speaker putting my middle finger up which in return so

did everyone else.

Jumping down I went over to my mic, "Alright let's get this shit started." I yelled

Turning my fingers in a circular motion everyone started moshing.

"Get the fuck up!" I yelled

Right then I knew that this show was going to be epic.
