False Trust

We walked into his house, and it was huge, beautiful. The walls were white, his furniture was black leather, his kitchen had dark wood cabinets and a black stove and fridge, the counter tops were dark granite. It was a beautiful place. His couch was more comfortable than my bed back home. I was starving, and I think he heard my stomach rumble, because he asked if I wanted anything to eat, I told him I did and he came back with some leftover Chinese takeout. It was okay, but I didn't like what he got, but it was food, I hadn't eaten in days.
"Some friends are coming over later, you can stay down here if you want, but the bedroom is up the stairs, and to the left, there's two big doors, and to the right is the guest apartment door, it has a kitchen and stuff, my maid normally stays there, but she's on vacation for a week."
"Thanks." I say and continue to stay where I was next to him on the couch.
I took of my leather jacket and laid it down next to me. "What's this?" Austin asked pointing to my arm.
"Nothing." I said and pulled it away.
"May I remind you of who I am? That is not nothing."
He was right, the deep scars that were on my arms were nothing, but they were just scars, I only had a few fresh ones, "They're nothing of your concern."
"Scarlet, you tell me now."
"What the hell do they look like? I spilled my guts to you in the car. You know what they're from."
He let out a sigh, "Stop this. Right now. You're beautiful."
~Austin's POV~
She chuckled at my statement, her big blue eyes looking up at me, her red hair slightly blowing from the overhead fan.
"It's true." I said putting a head on her leg.
She flinched, I had forgotten about that, she told me she didn't like people touching her. "Sorry." I mumbled.
"It's fine." she said moving over to me. She laid herself over my body, her back against my stomach, I wrapped my arms around her and she laid her head on my chest. I heard soft snores and I took her upstairs and laid her down on my bed. She twitched a little bit, but then cuddled the pillow.
I walked back downstairs only to be greeted by Oli, his girlfriend Raven, and Alan. “Hey guys.” I said being hugged by them.
“Hey, so who’s car is that outside?” Alan asked me.
I laughed, “Funny story actually.”
“Do tell.” Oli said plopping down on my couch, his girlfriend following.
“I was driving in L.A. today, and I was rear ended by some chick, she offered to drive me home, she’s in my bed sleeping.”
“Ooo does she have a name??” Raven asked.
“She does, it’s Scarlet.”
Soon after saying that I heard footsteps come down the stairs, “I told you I wasn’t-” she stopped when she saw who was there. She walked over to me and sat down in my lap. She looked at me a little awkwardly, she knew who they were, but she didn’t know what to say.

~Scarlet’s POV~

I sat awkwardly on Austin’s lap, I saw Oli Sykes, Alan Ashby, and some girl, who was sitting close to Oli, I figured she was his girlfriend, she looked over and smiled, I flashed a smile over and looked down at my hands, I played with my fingers and realized my arms were bare, it was silent until I spoke, “Scarlet.” I said looking at everyone.
“God finally.” Austin smirked.
“Talk about awkward.” The girl said, “Raven by the way, Oli’s girlfriend.”
“Nice to meet you.” I smiled at her.
I got up and walked into the bathroom. It was huge, a glass shower and then a tub next to it, a big sink, and then the toilet, it was all white and gold, the floor in the shower was gold, the floor everywhere else was white, and then the tile on the wall was also gold. It was really nice. I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair was messy, my makeup was down my face, my body kind of hurt, and I had a major headache, probably from the wreck earlier. I turned on the water and got the makeup off of my face and put my hair in a ponytail.
“Are you alright?” I heard Raven say from the other side of the door.
“Oh yeah I’m fine, didn’t realize how bad I looked.” I chuckled opening the door.
I walked back to Austin who was sitting on the couch with the other guys, Raven motioned me to the door and I waved at Austin telling him we were leaving. We got into the nice black BMW car and drove to the mall. It was weird, I didn’t know her, but she seemed pretty cool, I mean she must be, she’s Oli’s girlfriend. Hannah had been out of the picture for quite some time, she cheated on him and he told her to fuck off.
“So how long have you and Oli been together?” I asked.
“A few months, we met when we were little, I’ve been his friend for ages.” She replied happily.
“Oh that’s cool. I guess Austin told you how we met eh?”
“That he did, good thing though, since his wife and him split he hasn’t been the same. He needs someone in his life before he goes under completely.”
“Well, I guess that’s why I’m here.”
I don’t know why we were at the mall, but we were. I didn’t really have any shirts except a few band shirts. I did need clothes. We walked all around, shopping for makeup, hair products, clothes, shoes, everything. I ended up getting a bunch of makeup, a flat iron for my hair, some plain t-shirts, some Vans and Toms, and a few pairs of thongs and bras. It was nice to have some girl time, even if I’ve never met this chick. She was really cool and really nice. We had a lot in common. She had a few people come up to her and hug her, it was really cool, I want to be like that.
I was really shy, and didn’t like talking to people, but I felt really comfortable around her. She talked about Austin some, and told me some things I needed to know. We walked outside and it was snowing, wait snow? Does it even snow in L.A.? I didn’t think it did, but I guess it does. It was really cold today. This was nice, the snow.
“We should call the boys and go ice skating!” Raven shouted.
“More like ‘Trying to ice skate but instead being bombarded by fans’” I chuckled, as did she.
“Right?! Damn, we should try anyways.”
She gave Oli a call, and by the expression on her face I knew that we were going. We drove back to Austin's place, we changed into some warm clothes and we got back in the BMW. Oli and Raven in the front, and me and Austin in the back. I was excited, I’ve never been ice skating before. It was freezing when we got there. I was right, we were bombarded by fans. After a while me and Raven just decided to go skating by ourselves, we slipped on the skates and made our way to the ice. I was a little nervous, I didn’t want to fall on my butt. But I did, multiple times before managing to keep myself on my feet, the first time I made it around the rink without falling I wanted to throw a party! It was nice not to fall on my ass. After about an hour, Austin and Oli made their way to the rink, they weren’t too good skating either, me and Raven just laughed about it. Watching big tough tattooed men falling on their ass, it was hilarious.
By the time they were not falling on their ass, me and Raven were practically professionals at skating, they had just gotten the hang of it, and once they reached us. They begged that we leave and go get something to eat. I laughed and agreed we should, I was getting kind of hungry. We got to some nice restaurant. I sat across from Austin and next to Raven who sat across from Oli.
“What can I get you guys today?” The waiter asked and looked at me first.
“Water please.” I smiled.
“Coke.” Raven said, silently giggling. I looked over at her confused and she pointed at his tattoo, it read “Fuk Skool.” I couldn’t help but laugh extremely loudly when I saw it.
“Pardon?” The waiter asked.
“You should really go back to school.” Raven chuckled.
He sighed and looked at Austin, “Dr. Pepper.”
“Water.” Oli said.
“Can I start you off with an appetizer? Or do you know what you’re ready to order?”
“Give us a few please.” Austin said and the waiter walked off.
I didn’t want him to spend a lot of money on me, I thought about the salad, or even just chips. I wasn’t sure. Everything here was so expensive. Raven told me just to let him spoil me, but I couldn’t, I don’t want to use him.
“Have you decided?” the waiter said coming back with our drinks.
“Salad please.” I said.
“Oh no, she’ll have the grilled chicken tacos, no guacamole.”
“Austin that’s too much money.”
“It’s my treat now shush. And I’ll have the steak, medium rare.”
“And you ma’am?”
“Do you have any vegetarian items?” Raven asked.
“We Have soup, and salad, and a Quesada.”
“Soup and a small side salad please.”
“I’ll have the same.” Oli said.
He walked off and left us. We joked around a bit, I told them how it was my birthday. They were a bit surprised at my age, they thought I was much older, like 20, not 18. They made it very clear they did not think I was 18. But I was, and it turned it today. Austin grabbed my hands and smiled at me. It was really hot inside, but I refused to take my jacket off.
“Scarlet? Is that you?” I heard a familiar voice say. Shit.
Oh Scarlet honey! We’ve been worried sick, it’s time to go home now.”
I began breathing heavily, my eyes grew wide and I flinched when he laid his hand on my shoulder. Austin looked at my ‘dad’, then my ‘mom’, then at me. Don’t let them take me, god please don’t let them take me. I mouthed to Austin.
“Sorry ma’am, sir, but we’re on a date, a double date, and it would be rude to let her leave before we’ve even eaten.” Austin said to them.
“Oh that’s fine, we’ll wait until you’re done, then little Scarlet needs to come home! We have to celebrate her birthday.” My mother said.
“But afterwards we’re going to see a movie in LA, then I have a concert she’s going to, and if I’m right, she can do what she wants, she’s legal now.” Austin smirked.
“Honey, Scarlet dear, this man is a creep, let’s leave.” My father said.
“I’m not going anywhere with you shits.” I hissed.
“Come on honey, we have a nice big cake waiting at home for you, your mother made it this afternoon.”
“I said, I’m not going anywhere with you.”
“Get your ass up you worthless bitch!” My mother shouted punching me right in the jaw.
I fell to the ground and Raven came to me, that’s the last I remember before blacking out.
