Austin's POV

It's been a week since the incident with Callie in front of the bar. I honestly would've killed the guy if Callie hadn't pulled me away. I couldn't seem to put my mind off on why anyone would hurt her physically and mentally. She's been broken for years and is still recovering from what happened years ago. She told me something deep but the thing is, she trusted me with the information given to me. I'm honestly glad that she trusted me. I'm still recovering from my divorce but while I'm with Callie, I never seem to think about it.

How beautiful she looks everytime I look at her, the way her long, soft purple hair, cascades down past her back, her hazel eyes that gleam in the light. She was a keeper and I wouldn't lose her for the world. I might be falling hard for her.

We're here in Ohio and got a few shows under our belts since the tour has begun. I was shopping with Callie in the shops they had in Ohio on our day off before the show tomorrow. We've actually have been enjoying each others company a lot more the past couple of day. Just having a day with Callie by myself, I was excited as hell. "What about this one?" She smiled at me as she held up a shirt. "It looks cute babe." I smiled back. I looked at all the items that were on display on the table.

I felt Callie's arms wrap around my waist. I smiled at the sensation of her arms around my waist. "I think I'm ready to go." She whispered. I turned around to face her. I kissed her nose and walked with her to checkout. The only thing she was getting was 3 pairs of shorts, 3 shirts and a pair of sunglasses. I told her I'll pay due to her objections and we walked out of the story, hand in hand, just walking.

"Where do you wanna go now?" Callie asked, looking up at me. "Anywhere you wanna go, is fine with me." I laughed. "Well.. I am hungry." She said quietly. "Then let's get us something to eat, shall we?" I said. Callie laughed. "Yeah."

Callie's POV

Austin and I were on the bus after a long, fun-filled day of shopping watching a movie on the FX channel. It was showing some random movie. I had the best time of my life today, I really did. I haven't had a guy around beside Andrew before. I never really had a boyfriend actually. I knew Andrew since I was 14 and my sister has been dating him for 4 years now. He was like a brother I wished I had.

"Callie?" Austin took me out of my thoughts. "Hm?" I mumbled as I looked at Austin who was looking at me concerned. "You okay? I was talking to you for a couple of minutes." He said. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." I said compassionately. "It's okay babe, so I was thinking." He paused. "You were thinking what?" I pressed. "Do you, wanna go to dinner?" He smiled.

I smiled back and kissed his cheek. "I would love to." He laughed, pulled me up gently to my feet. He walked towards the tour bus door and started walking the sidewalk. The guys were out partying and I didn't want to go due to the fact that I hate parties but surprisingly Austin stayed behind with me to hang out on the bus. While we were walking, out of the blue I said, "You didn't have to stay with me, you know? I would have been fine." Austin turned his head to me so fast I thought his neck would break.

"Callie, after what happened the other night, I don't think I ever wanna let you outta my sight again. Not while I'm around." My heart was beating so fast in chest. It was the good kind of beating. The beating of my undying love for Austin Carlile. "Austin." I was speechless, I didn't know what to say.

This beautiful man walking with me to go get dinner, the man who has saved me twice now, was the best friend I could ever have. Hell, I didn't even know what the hell was going on with us now but I sure do know that I was in love with him and I think he was in love with me.
