Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

I was grabbing boxes from the van when Chloe walked up. She looked like she had been up for a little while but she still looked hungover to the max.

"Well don't you look like shit." I said smiling at her.

She flipped me off grabbing the other box before starting to walk away. I kicked the door shut and followed her.

"Why don't you look hungover?" She asked as we walked.

"I don't know. I woke up with a killer headache, then slammed my head into the top of a bunk, proceeded to fall on the floor, and have the shit scared out of me." I replied.

She dropped her box on the ground and sat down. She has already got the tent up so she was making me set up the display board. We talked about what we remembered from last night.

"Oh! So apparently I was quite popular last night." I said looking at her.

"Who did you talk to?" She asked looking at me warily.

"Alan Ashby. He had found me snooping through papers after I woke up. I was trying to find out who's bus I was on. And according to him I kissed Alex from All Time Low, you, in Austin Carlile." I explained to her.

Her head snapped up. "Alex, me, and Austin?" She questioned.

"I guess so." I say as I feel my phone vibrate. It was Twitter.

My face paled. There was a picture of me kissing Alex, Chloe, and Austin all stitched together.

Alan Ashby:Attention! If anybody knows who the dark-haired girl in these photos are please let @AustinCarlile know he's dying to find out.

I gasped and shove my phone to Chloe's face she looked at it for a second before looking up at me.

"Are you going to say anything to him?" She asked.

I thought about it for a minute, before shaking my head no.

"Nope. This summer is about Wilted Lily not a drunken hookup. If he wants to know so bad he'll find me. I will probably take a pic if I walk around later and say 'I'm closer than you think, finders keepers.' or something. But I'm not going to overthink Alan's tweet." I told her setting the board up and turning toward her.

She just looks at me with an incredulous look.

"What?" I exclaim.

"Austin Carlile is looking for you cause you slept together and you're brushing it off like it's no big thing. I know you. This is a huge deal for you. He someone you've looked up to since you started listening to them." She says

I bite my lip. She was right but I wasn't going to do anything about it.

"He probably just wants to know the name of the girl he hooked up with. And it is a big deal to me, but I'm not letting it distract me from what this summer is really about. "I replied.

Silence fell between us as we finish setting up the tent. We both went back to the van to change and freshen up before the gates opened. I was getting nervous. Would anyone buy our stuff or with me go home broke with our tails between her legs.
