Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

2.

It had been a couple weeks since Chloe as I had moved to Southern California, and to say it has been stressful would be putting it lightly. Setting up a new branch was really difficult. It was like starting all over again.

Everything had to be re-ordered and sent here. We had to hire a whole new staff of sales associates, supervisors, 2 managers, and a general manager. So far we had found all but the 2 managers. If we didn't find any before we left it would be very hard on Jennifer.

Jennifer was perfect for the GM position. She had great references and lots of experience. Chloe was actually starting to feel comfortable with the idea of leaving in three weeks. The bell above the door chimed.

I was standing behind the counter looking through a stack of applications for manager and was growing extremely frustrated. No one had the qualifications we were looking for.

"Sorry we aren't open." I said without looking up.

"I know I saw that you were opening soon and was wondering if there were any positions still open." I heard a woman's voice say.

I looked up. She was mid to late twenties, about 5'7", and screamed rocker. She had short choppy black hair, a cut up Guns 'N Roses shirt, and black skinnies with motorcycle boots. She looked perfect but what really counted was if she had the experience.

"Well the only positions we have available right now are managerial ones. Do you have any experience?" I asked setting the stack of papers down. She smiled and nodded. "Come fill out and application. When you're done we can talk." I handle her a clipboard and a pen.

I walked into the back where Chloe was taking inventory of the product that had just came in.

"We have a potential manager out front. She looks perfect. I'm having her fill out an application right now. When she's done do you want to interview her with me?" I asked.

She nodded marking something down before dropping her clipboard and looking at me.

"Do you think she'll be a good fit?" Chloe asks.

"From what I can see yes, but I have yet to see her qualifications." I replied.

We walked back upfront and saw her standing by the counter.

"This is Chloe, my business partner. My name is Autumn. Here I'll take that." I tell here reaching for the clipboard. I began looking it over. It was very impressive.

"So Meghan, why do you want to work here? Chloe asks looking up from Meghan's application.

"From what I can tell of your guys' brand it's stuff I would wear. Stuff I wish had been around when I does got into rock music. Rocker style has never really had a girly side. It's mostly based toward men, and wha little is for girls isn't cute. Your clothes has a new and fresh take on what our side of the music scene wants to wear. It's something I would love to be a part of." She said smiling.

I looked at Chloe with a knowing smile on my face. She had the same one. I immediately knew she was thinking the same thing.

"Welcome to Wilted Lily Meghan." I said extending my hand.

I Knew with Meghan on board that even if we only had one manager they would be able to handle it. Warped tour was looking more and more like it was a realistic feat.

Notes

So this is chapter 2. It's filler but again. It's stuff that will come back into play a little later in the story so I wanted to put it in. Hope you like it.
