Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

It was halfway through the second period and the Red Wings were losing 2-0 against the bruins. I was bummed because it was the first game I’d been to in years. Austin was getting really into it, I smiles at him. I was going to get him a shirt before we left.

We had tweeted a couple pictures since we had been here. Austin posted one of us captioned 'First hockey game ever. Glad I have a pro with me ;) @WiltedAutumn.'

I tweeted one of Kronwall laying someone out and stitched it with a picture of Austin making a face that just screamed ouch. 'Looks like the fans are in luck @AustinCarlile will never be a hockey player :p.' was its caption.

The buzzer sounded signaling the end of the second period. People started to stand and file through to the concessions. I stood and looked at him.

“I am going to get a beer, do you want one?” I questioned.

“Yes please.” He said smiling.

I stood and walked up the steps and out into the chaos of the concessions. I walked toward one of the pro shops. I began to look around for one that suited him. One caught my eye. It was black and had the team’s octopus on the front of it. The octopus had a black eye and was missing a tooth. On the back it had Kronwall’s name and number. I grabbed him his size and walked to the register. I paid and went to get our beers.

I was walking down the stairs when I caught sight of Austin talking to a girl. She was probably about 23 with light brown hair. She was extremely pretty. I was suddenly upset. Why was he talking to her? Did he think she was prettier than me?

I realized I was jealous. I liked Austin. I finished walking down the stairs and cleared my throat.

“Here Austin.” I said handing him his beer and sitting down.

He looked at me and smiled before leaning over and kissing my cheek. Maybe he didn’t see anything in her after all.

“Autumn this is Chelsea. She’s a fan and saw me so she decided to come over and say hi.” He tells me. “Chelsea this is Autumn. She owns a clothing company that has a booth on warped tour this year.”

She smiles fakely at me before sticking her hand out for me to shake.

“It’s so nice to meet you.” She says sweetly. I smile back nodding. “Well I best get back to my seat. It was nice meeting you both.”

She walked away and I stared after her. She was shaking her ass shamelessly. Clearly she was pissed that he was here with someone, but he showed no interest in her and that calmed my jealousy some.

When I turned back to Austin I found him staring at me. I bit my lip and handed him the bag I had dropped at my feet. Smiling he opened it and pulled it out.

“You didn’t have to you know, but thank you. I love it. Would you be upset if I modified it a little bit?” He asks me.

“I would expect nothing less.” I tell him smiling knowing he wanted to cut the sleeves off and open the sides up some.

He wraps his arm around my shoulders hugging me tightly. We settled back into our seats waiting for the third period to start. We watched the jumbo-tron as they started doing the kiss cam. There were a few young couples and a really cute older couple. My eyes went wide when Austin and I popped up.

Was he going to want to kiss me?

I looked at him and bit my lip and gave him a shy smile. He returned it and cupped my cheek before leaning down and placing his lips softly on mine. I smiled against his lips and moved my hand to his chest kissing him deeper. My stomach flipped and the cheek he was touching was on fire. Our first actual kiss had just been seen by about 35,000 people.
