Save me from the nothing I've become

Nicole's POV

I walked through the door quietly not trying to wake the beast aka my boyfriend, as I was taking off my shoes I heard moaning coming from our bedroom and yelling of the name David I ran upstairs, I was completely horrified at the view. "What the hell?!" I screamed at them, then David practically threw the girl off of him,"Baby c'mon it's not what it looks like I swear." I shook my head,"No it is what it looks like, I'm leaving. Have fun with your whore." I said while gathering my stuff. I ran downstairs with my suitcase and sat in my car. Where would I go now? That was my only home. Then I thought, Jenna. She would surely help a friend in need! Right? I shrugged its worth a shot, I thought and sped off to her music store.

It it was only 6:00 pm so she should be there.

I hopped out of the car and locked it. Before going in I flattened out my clothing. I walked into the store and saw her reading a magazine. I coughed getting her attention, her hrad shot up, once she saw me she smiled,"Nicole! What's up?" She said coming around the desk,"It's something I need to talk to you about, but it's not a big deal or anything." She frowned and put her hands on her hip,"Tell me." I nodded and rubbed the back of my neck,"Well um-"

she he rolled her eyes,"Spit it out Nicole." I took a breath.

"I went home from work and I tried going in as quietly as possible, but then,"I started to tear up,"I went upstairs and David h-he was." I stopped, but she got what I was saying she shook her head,"When I find that asshole I swear." She said while bringing up a fist which caused me to laugh. She was starting to say something but I couldn't understand her because at that moment a bunch of rowdy guys came into the store. I rolled my eyes at them, little did I know I would fall for one of them.

I looked back at Jenna she rolled her eyes as we'll but then perked up,"Hey guys! Welcome to the one and only Jen's music store, I'm Jenna if you need anything just ask me, and you're welcome to play and of the instruments." I looked at the guys as they walked around, I noticed one in particular, he had natural red hair, nose ring, and a smile to die for.

I took a seat on the stool in front of Jenna,"So when you see David your going to rip his balls off right?" I asked laughing, she chuckled,"Yes and after I'm going to gauge his eyes out and make him eat them." I raised an eyebrow,"Too far?" She asked while laughing, I held to fingers up,"A little." I smiled and went toward the recording booth,"Jen! Got any new guitars?!" I shouted at her from the back,"Yeah! Look in the back room!" She shouted back. I did as she said and saw the most beautiful guitar I'd ever seen in my entire life. I picked it up out of the case and went back out.

I took a set and started to play one of my favorite songs by pierce the veil, Hold on Till May. Then I started singing.

After I finished the song the men who had walked in plus Jenna were standing in front of me mouths dropped. I chuckled and put the guitar away. "I knew you could play guitar, but u didn't know you could sing as well!!" Jenna squealed. I rolled my eyes,"I'm not that good." She crossed her arms,"Bullshit." I chuckled. Then the ginger started talking,"You're really good. I'm assuming you like Pierce the Veil?" I laughed,"Yeah a lot, they're one if my favorite bands." He smiled, oh my Lordy that smile,"Have you heard of, Of mice and Men?" He asked, I nodded,"I have never listened to their music are they any good?" He looked at the other guys and they had they jaws open,"What?" I asked confused, the ginger laughed,"We are Of Mice And Men." I laughed awkwardly,"ohh, so that must mean I have to check your guys music out?" They all nodded. We talked for a while telling each other our names. In the end we exchanged numbers.

That at night I stayed at Jenna's house, she didn't mind.
