Looks Can Be Deceiving

I walked back into Warwick, trying to spot Austin somewhere in the crowd. I roamed around, feeling myself become more and more tired. Ryan waved at me from afar as he danced with his girlfriend, and I ran into Tally once before I found Austin at the bar with one of the Bunnies from earlier. He took a sip of his drink and stood up a bit taller when he saw me walking to him. I smiled and stood next to him as he wrapped his arm around me. The blonde shot me a look that Austin caught before I could react.
“Well, have a good night, Nikki. I think Pandora and I are going to go check out our room and get some sleep. Enjoy the party.” Before she said anything back, he pulled me with him and into the elevator. “Sorry about that,” he looked down to me.
“It’s okay,” I smiled. “I’m not worried.”
“Is it alright that we go back to the room? I thought that’d be the perfect line to use so we could get away.” I giggled.
“It’s fine. I’m a bit tired anyways.” He grabbed onto my hand, squeezing it as the door opened. He waved goodbye to the bouncer before we traveled across the street to the hotel. Instead of checking in, Austin pulled out our key card, looking at the room number.
“Top floor,” he mumbled, pulling me into another elevator that carried us up to our private hallway. He slid the key into the slot of door 122, letting me go in before he turned on the lights. I looked around in awe. His friends really did save the best room for us. Most of it was glass windows, but we had our own kitchen and living room.
“I feel really bad that we aren’t going to use this whole place…” I softly rubbed my arm, feeling out of place.
“It’s alright. I don’t think they expect us to make the most out of the room seeing as how it’s late and everything.” He slid off his suit coat, hanging it over the back of a dining room chair. I walked over to the edge of the room, putting my hand up against the cool thick glass wall. I looked down, my eyes growing big as I realized how far up we were. A tingly feeling ran through my body when Austin’s colorful arms slid around my waist.
“Don’t fall,” he whispered in my ear, softly chuckling. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment, laying my head back on Austin’s warm chest. We both overlooked LA, staying in the silence. “Are you afraid of heights?”
“A little… I’ve never been on the top floor of a hotel… nor have I stayed in one mostly made of glass. Isn’t that a bit invasive to our privacy?” I looked up to him.
“No, there’s curtains over there that cover these. Would you like me to close them?” I shook my head.
“It’s beautiful… I just meant… if we were using this room for other purposes, I’d feel like the whole city was watching,” I blushed a bit. Austin laid his chin on my shoulder.
“Luckily for you, all we’re doing is sleeping.” I could hear the smile in his voice. His voice was so sweet and gentle. I was starting to fall in love with it; with him… everything about him. He let go of me, walking over to the bed as he undid his tie and button up shirt. I turned around and couldn’t help but watch him slowly undress as he observed our room. He slid his shirt and tie off in one swift motion, draping the two pieces over his arm. He turned to me and caught my gaze, smirking.
“Enjoying the view?” My breath caught in my throat as he slowly made his way over to me. “It’s that way, beautiful.” He pointed to the skyline behind me, still keeping eye contact.
“Um, yeah… it is.” He stopped walking and smiled.
“I’ll be out in a minute.” Before questioning him, he let himself into what I guessed was the bathroom. I let out my breath and ran my hand through my hair. The back of my hands pressed to my cheeks, feeling the blush that Austin had brought on. I waited a second and listened to Austin roaming around in the bathroom. I wanted to make sure he was going to stay in there for a minute or two so I could change. I unzipped my dress and let it fall to the ground, leaving me in my bra and panties. I hadn’t exactly packed overnight clothes, as this room was unexpected, but I had a tank top and shorts in my bag. I could wear that. I’d worn shorts with Austin’s shirt before, so it’s not like I was exposing myself too much. The bathroom door opened, as a bright light shone onto the carpet, illuminating Austin’s tall, lengthy figure in the doorway. My body became paralyzed as he got closer to me. He set down his pants and shirt down by his suit coat. It was dark, but I could tell he had some baggy gym shorts on. I quickly looked back out the window before he caught me staring again. I could hear him walk around the room, but didn’t want to look back. “Are you coming to bed?” he asked, appearing next to me. I turned to him and nodded.
“Just enjoying the view… your friends are so thoughtful for getting us this room. Thank you so much for taking me with you tonight. I’m sorry you didn’t get to stay long.” He shook his head and put his hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him.
“I spent my night with you, and that’s what I was looking forward to. Besides, they’ll probably stop by here later on the way to their own rooms.” I was a few inches away from his face, and could hear the two of us breathing. I nodded, closing my eyes. I felt a bit dizzy, but Austin’s strong hold kept me up. Before I could get away, he wrapped his arms around my back, pulling my hips against his. I laid my arms on his shoulders, looking up to him as he smiled down at me. “Pandora… I know we’re just starting out, but I want you to know that I think you’re absolutely stunning. There’s no one I’d rather be sharing this room with tonight. You looked so sexy in the dress you had on earlier. I’m not here to hurt you. I want to be with you.” I smiled as I listened to him speak. “Trust me?” he raised an eyebrow. Speechless, I nodded. It didn’t matter what I felt before. I trusted Austin now and that was all that mattered. He brought his hand up to my jaw, tilting my head up before leaning in to kiss me. His warm breath made my heart flutter as my knees felt weak. He pulled me tighter against him, allowing him to kiss me deeper. I could taste the faint alcohol that lingered on his lips, but it didn’t seem to bother me. I had never been kissed like this before. He pulled away, leaving our noses to touch. Before I could say anything, he bent down, wrapping his hands around my thighs. He lifted me up to his waist as I wrapped my legs around his back. He carried me over to the bed, laying me down in the middle. He crawled on top of me, moving his hands to my hips. He slowly slid them up, resting his thumbs on my ribcage. He brought one hand up to my neck as his long fingers brushed away the hair that covered my skin. I shivered as he gently pulled at a sensitive spot with his lips. I let out an unintentional moan, immediately regretting it. He smiled against my skin as if he expected that reaction, and continued to run his lips over the spot. He moved down my neck, leaving kisses all over my shoulders and collar bones. Before I could stop myself, I ran my hands through his hair, gently pulling at it as he hit a few sensitive areas. He slid my bra and tank top straps down my shoulders, his breath hot on my skin. He stopped and pulled away, smiling down at me for a second. “You’re beautiful.” I smiled.
“Thank you,” I whispered, keeping my eyes locked on his lips. “You’re not too hard on the eyes either.” He softly chuckled, leaning back down to kiss me. A knock came at the door, making me jump.
“It’s just Tally and Ryan,” Austin smiled remaining calm. He kissed me on the cheek before getting up to answer the door.
