Looks Can Be Deceiving

Pandora’s POV-
I sat on Austin’s bed, wrapped in a warm soft blanket, eating ramen that he had heated up for me. I had been here for a few hours, showering and watching Catfish, while Austin worked on some stuff downstairs, leaving me to relax. He was currently in the kitchen, washing some dishes that he hadn’t gotten to earlier. I set my empty bowl on the table next to his bed and reclined a bit, laying my head into his fluffy pillows. I closed my eyes and thought of all the girls that Austin had been with. I wondered how many there were. What if he looked at me as another one of them, just a girl to play around with? Or someone to give him what he wants? I jumped a bit when I heard his footsteps enter the room. He frowned as I sat up and opened my eyes.
“Sorry,” I apologized. “I didn’t mean to scare you. I just wanted to see how you were doing.” I smiled.
“I’m good… thanks again for barrowing me this stuff,” I looked down to the clothes that Austin had lent me.
“No problem. I’m sorry that you had to go through that, Pandora. Those girls really need to grow up. They shouldn’t get away with that.”
“Eh, it’s alright. It’s not like they haven’t done things like this before.” He frowned, sitting at the edge of the bed, looking back at my empty bowl.
“Was dinner good?” I giggled.
“Very, thank you again.” He shook his head.
“No problem…” he kept his eyes on me, keeping his smile.
“What?”
“Your giggle… it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.” I could feel myself blushing deeper and deeper by the moment. He must have noticed because he laughed harder.
“Stop!” I yelled, covering my face so he couldn’t see me.
“Okay, okay.” I peeked at him from the top of my sleeve, to see him grinning. “I’m still here.” I looked down and sighed.
“Why does your bed have to be so comfortable? It’s making me tired,” I complained softly.
“Stay the night.” That statement hung in the air for a minute as I played with my fingers. I shrugged. “I mean, it you’re comfortable with it,” he said quickly.
“No,” I looked up to him, “I want to…” I tensed up a bit, wondering if any expectations came with this invitation.
“Pandora,” he laughed. “I see that you’re worrying about it. Relax,” he smiled. “I’ll take the couch. You sleep up here.”
“No, Austin, I can’t kick you out of your bed. This is your house.”
“You’re not kicking me out, I want you to stay the night and be comfortable.”
“I’d feel bad all night and I’d get no sleep. I’ll take the couch,” I smiled a bit, assuring him that I was fine with that. He stood up.
“Don’t be silly. Make yourself at home. Bathroom is down the hall, remotes for the TV and fireplace are on the table over there, and fresh clothes are in the dresser. You can change if you’d like. I do laundry on a daily basis.” He put his hands in his pockets. “Anything I can get you before bed, beautiful?” I shrugged, looking at all the soft blankets on his bed. He raised his eyebrow asking what I wanted.
“Can you stay in here for a while?” I asked softly, not looking at him in the eye. He chuckled.
“Of course, mind if I change real quick.”
“Not at all, go ahead.” He smiled and walked down the hallway, softly closing the bedroom door behind him.
