Epilogue

Aaron:
“Jesus, there's not enough time!” I groaned flitting from one room to the next.
A hand on my shoulder stopped me. “You need to calm down and get dressed. It will all get taken care of. Everything will be fine.”

“No it won't! There's only two hours until people start showing up, the flowers aren't here yet, and the guys are all stuck in traffic!” I shrugged away from him to scurry around trying to find Valarie or James.

“No we're not!”

I spun around to see Alan, Phil, and Tino all walking in, suits slung over their shoulders in plastic garment bags. Austin smiled and stepped over to Alan giving him a quick kiss. “Hey babe, I thought you said another hour at least?”

Tino laughed. “Yeah, it was, but Phil rode the shoulder to the next exit and floored it. Fucker almost got arrested!”

“Well that's one down, but the flowers still aren't here yet and I can't find my planners!”

“Ok, easy A.P. Tell you what,” Austin put a hand on my back and began steering me towards the stairs, “you come upstairs with me and Al to get dressed. Tino and Phil will see if they can find Val and James. Ok?”

“But-”

Phil silenced me with a look. “We'll take care of it. You need to get ready.”

“Big day!” Tino waggled his eyebrows before the two disappeared down the hall. I sighed in defeat and allowed myself to be led upstairs to the room I shared with Austin.

“You need to relax or you're going to have a panic attack,” Alan chuckled.

“I don't get panic attacks,” I grumbled, unlocking the door.

“At the rate you're going, you're going to put yourself in the hospital from cardiac arrest,” Austin snorted. “Sil asked me to stay with you last night because she didn't want you to panic like this, so stop it. Take a breath, everything's going to be fine.”

I sighed. “I know, it probably will. I just want everything to be perfect, ya know? She'll never say she wants it, and if I'd let her plan she wouldn't have done it, but I know this is the kind of wedding she secretly wants, and I want to make sure she's happy.”

Alan chuckled. “Aus, you better be taking notes. Our wedding better be just as magical as this one or we're through.”

His boyfriend snorted. “Who said I wanted to put up with your shit for the rest of my life, Ashby?”

“You did, baby.” He gave Austin a quick peck on the lips as he handed him his suit.

The taller man chuckled before turning his attention to me. “Let's go! Get dressed!” He shoved a garment bag into my hands.

I sighed but obeyed, knowing that once I put on my tux I couldn't rush around worrying about everything. That's probably why they made me get dressed.

Austin phone started ringing from the pocket of his discarded jeans. He dug around for a moment before putting it to his ear. “Hello?” There was a second's pause before he chuckled. “You absolutely may not.” Pause. “I don't care.” Pause. “Oh quit whining.” Pause. “Well you tell me and I'll relay the message. Mmhmm.” He wrinkled his nose. “Ugh! Gross, tell him that yourself!” He held the phone out to me.

“Hello?”

“Hey handsome, how're things by you?” Silver's sweet voice cooed from the other end of the line.

I smiled. “Good, everything's good. By you?”

She laughed. “I'm already dressed and ready with so much time to spare it's unreal. I want to eat but they won't let me have anything but water.”

“ANYTHING ELSE WILL STAIN! AARON TELL HER TO STOP COMPLAINING!” I heard Hillary yell somewhere in the background.

I laughed. “Don't worry, angel, I made sure there was plenty of food for the reception.”

“Good,” there was a murmured conversation, “I have to what? What the fuck is that? What ever. Fine, fine! Aaron I have to go do something or other, I don't really know. I'll see you in an hour.”

My heart started racing. Only an hour. “I'll see you in an hour. I love you.”

“You better!” she laughed before hanging up.

I shook my head with a smile. That's the girl I'm marrying in an hour.

Alan:
“I have to check on-”

No! You will sit your ass back in that chair and look pretty until we say you can move,” Austin pointed to the chair in the farthest corner from the door.

Aaron sulked back over that way to sit. “But what about-”

“Val and James will take care of everything and come up here if they need you.” I patted his shoulder before slipping on my jacket.

I felt something on my hips, then Austin's lips on my neck. “Lookin' good, Al.”

I chuckled and turned to face him. “Not looking too bad yourself, Carlile.”

I meant to just give him a quick peck on the lips, but Austin's arms went around my waist, keeping me pressed against him. When he eventually pulled back hips lips were at my ear. “You really look good in that suit,” he growled, so low and primal it sent a shiver down my spine. Guess he has a suit fetish or something. Good to know.

Tino and Phil came in and took their suits from where I'd placed them. “Flowers just got here and are being put in place,” Phil said as he hurriedly changed.

“T-minus ten minutes, big guy. How ya feeling?” Tino chuckled taking the seat across from Aaron.

As they engaged in conversation I turned my attention back to the mirror as I adjusted my suit. I'm missing somethi-

Whack! I yelped after something whipped my butt.

“Forgot your tie, Allycat.” Austin smiled devilishly.

Of course! My tie! I ripped it out of Austin's hands, shooting him a dirty look that only made his smirk bigger.

It had been over a week since Austin and I had had any alone time. Between meetings, practice, and prepping for Aaron and Silver's wedding, we just hadn't been able to work things out where we could spend a night together. I was sure as hell sexually frustrated, and by the way he was acting, so was Austin.

I shrugged out of my jacket so I could put on my tie. Before I could even start to fumble with it, Austin's hands had replaced mine and were flipping the fabric around effortlessly.

“You have no idea how bad this past week has been,” he whispered as he tied. “I've been getting beat down on all sides, I've had writer's block like no body's business, and we haven't gotten any time alone in over a week!” He pushed the knot up to my neck. “The second we're done with pictures, and I mean the very second we're done,” he growled as he helped me back into my jacket, “you will march that pretty little ass,” he did one button, “right up here,” he did the next button, “and we will have sex like there's no tomorrow,” he straightened my lapels, “because god knows I'm going to kill someone if we don't.” He stepped back to admire his work and smiled. “Got it?”

I swallowed. Austin was in that kind of mood. “Got it.”

He winked and slapped my ass. “Good.”

“Jesus christ! Wait until we're out of the room before you two start fucking!” Tino laughed as he strolled over to the mirror to check his hair.

There was a knock at the door that Austin answered. James sashayed in not a moment after. “How're we lookin' boys?” He glanced over everyone. He sighed when he reached me. “Your hair is a mess!” He shifted his gaze to my left. “Austin, fix his hair! The rest of you, come with me!” he ordered.

Phil helped Aaron haul himself out of the chair and onto shaking legs. I laughed. “Easy, A.P., you look like you're about to hurl.”

“There's no time for that!” James sighed as he propped open the door with his foot. “Let's move! Austin, let's go! You two have thirty seconds to fix that mess and get out here!” He urged Tino, Phil, and a petrified Aaron out of the room.

When the door was shut Austin grinned. I shook my head and walked to the bathroom. “Aus we don't have time. I promise, before the reception we'll meet back here and I'll blow you, but I'm not going to make their wedding run late. Aaron might not make it much longer without passing out.”

He groaned in frustration, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck while I combed my hair. “But Al,” he whined grinding against my back.

I sighed. “Later baby, I promise.” I turned and gave him a quick once over. “Does my hair look better?”

He nodded. “You look great.”

“LET'S GO!” James yelled, banging on the door.

I laughed and took my boyfriend's hand, leaving the room. I turned to Aaron. “Ready?”

He went to run his hand through his hair, but it was slapped away by James who then urged us to start walking. Aaron chuckled. “Yeah, it's just kinda...surreal I guess. I'm getting married for christ's sake!”

“In two minutes, no less, so let's move!” James urged as he jogged ahead to meet Val who was standing there with the bridesmaids.

“Where's Silver and Hillary?” Austin asked.

“Bad luck for him to see the bride before the ceremony!” one of the girls giggled. I didn't know any of them except for Hillary, who I assumed was with Sil.

“Alright, let's go! Line up!” James clapped.

“Remind me to deck that guy later,” I muttered to Phil. He nodded solomly.

“Aaron, up front, at the alter, off you go!” James gave him a shove towards the door.

The terrified groom looked back at us, terror evident in his eyes. I rolled my eyes. “I'll walk him up there, be back in a flash.” I saw him sigh in relief.

“Thanks man,” he mumbled as I slung my arm over his shoulder.

“No problem, bro,” I smiled.

The room was full of people chatting away, quieting only slightly when we entered. Once they saw it wasn't the bride, they quickly lost interest. Aaron was unusually quiet as we walked up to the front. People shot him excited smiles and waves as we passed. Aaron just smiled politely.

Once we were at the front I looked him over once. “You ok, Aaron?” He nodded as I straightened his bow tie. “You sure? You don't look too hot.”

He blew out a breath as I fixed his hair. I don't know when he managed to mess it up, what with James breathing down his neck all day, but he'd managed it. “It's not that I don't want this, it's all I want! It's just, it's just kind of hitting me, like really hitting me that this is happening. It's not 'will you marry me' it's the actual 'I do' and it's just unreal and new and absolutely terrifying. Ya know?” He gave a short laugh. “Well, no, I don't suppose you don't.”

I chuckled as I tucked the last loose strand back in place. “No, I guess I don't, but what I do know is that you're making the right choice. You two are perfect for each other the way I once thought Sil and I were.” I chuckled. “Turns out tall, dark, and mildly insane was more my type.” That got a good laugh out of him. “Take a breath, dude, you've got this.”

“PSST!” I turned to see James waving frantically at me.

I laughed. “That's my cue man. Hang tight, I'll see you in a few. Promise me you won't pass out until at least three of us are here to catch you?”

Aaron shoved me, but there was a smile on his face. “Fuck off, man.”

I gave him one last pat on the shoulder before jogging back out the door.

“He good?” Austin whispered in my ear as I straightened my cuffs.

I nodded. “He'll be fine.” I turned to see a puff of white fabric. I whistled as I looked up and down my best friend. “Wow.”

She laughed. “I told him it was too much!”

“Oh shut up you fucking moron, you look gorgeous!”

I laughed. “Hey Hil, great to see you.”

She smiled as she stepped over to hug me and Austin, in turn. “Hey boys! How's my favorite famous O-T-P?”

Austin groaned. “Could you not say that?”

I wrapped an arm around his waist. “Just be happy she didn't say the C word.”

“Cashby?” Silver smirked.

My boyfriend and I groaned in unison. “Could you not?”

I heard that horrible clap again from the planners. “Let's go! It's time! Line up!”

Aus and I kissed Silver on the cheek.

“Wait! Hold that!” The photographer cried. He placed each of her hands under one of our chins and told her to look up. I heard Val sigh impatiently, but was more than happy to take that moment to piss her off. The photographer smiled. “Cute!” He wished Silver luck and dashed off into the room.

I gave Austin one last kiss before lining up with one of Silver's girlfriends that I didn't know. James and Val walked around us arranging our arms the way they needed to be and fixing whatever they could find wrong with our appearances.

“I'm Nina,” she giggled.

“Alan.” I couldn't decide if she was cute or annoying.

“Oh right, you're Aus's boyfriend!” Annoying, definitely annoying.

I nodded. I'm murdering Silver for making me walk this chick.

“Oh! You guys are in a band right? Of Men and Mice or something, yeah?”

“Of Mice and Men,” I grumbled.

“Oh! That's a book too! Didja know that? I had to read it in high school.”

I heard Silver sputter to keep back a laugh and turned to glare at her. She smiled apologeticly, but I saw in her eyes that she was enjoying watching me suffer like this. I thanked all the gods I could think of that this air head wasn't my date. Speaking of, Austin was casting glances back at me every so often. Jealous fucker.

I was ready to fall to my knees and pray when the doors finally opened and Nina shut her mouth. I heard the music start and turned my head to give Silver one last smile before I was told to walk slowly (and by slowly, I mean that snails were leaving me in their dust) down the aisle with Silver's air headed friend.

Silver:
Don't panic. Don't panic. Don't panic. I heard the music change as Alan and my ditzy cousin went to their respective sides. Panic! Panic! Panic!

“Show time!” Val smiled.

I forced a smile back and kept it glued there as they opened the doors fully. PANIC! PANIC! DEFINITELY PANIC! I lifted my gaze to the alter as I began to make my way down the aisle. My eyes met with Aaron's and I let out a breath. I'm marrying him.

A real smile made it's way onto my lips. Aaron returned it.

Everything was definitely going to be ok.

I looked at Alan and Austin, standing just behind Aaron. They both smiled at me as I saw their linked hands squeeze briefly. I thought I saw tears in Austin's eyes.

When I finally made it to them, Aaron took my hands as Hillary – my maid of honor, naturally – took the twenty pound bouquet from me. God bless, my arms are killing me. He smiled. “You look beautiful, angel.”

I grinned back. “You're not lookin' too bad yourself, kid.”

Everyone was grinning from ear to ear.

Everything would definitely be ok, for all of us, from then on.

I only grinned wider at the thought.

“I do.”
