Don't Let Go

3. Lived A Small Town Girl...

We knew that if we drove we weren't going to make it in time; it was a 33 hour car ride from Chillicothe, Ohio to Los Angeles, California. I had to call the tour manager to tell them we wouldn't be able to make it to the Kick-Off Party or Alaska, but we could make it to Houston. Thankfully, he understood and we’d be able to attend the rest of the tour. I was grateful as hell, but I felt bad for LA and Alaska, but they would deal with it, I guess.
Basically, we decided we were going to head out to Houston a couple days early, just to get a feel for the place and, obviously, explore.

There were clubs, bars, museums, just about everything Houston had to offer and we had a total blast!
We’d been here for a day; all the busses were starting to come in and I couldn’t have been more excited. Jayden and I were sitting in our van, looking out the window, while the boys and Katelan continued to venture around the Reliant Center Parking Lot. I squealed when I saw Bring Me the Horizon’s bus, it looked brand freaking new. I couldn’t wait for that to be us, one day.
“I bet you they have a huge ass TV in there with mountains of movies and video games.” Jayden cooed and I simply just sighed.
“One day, we’re gonna make it big, just like them. And we’re going to have an even bigger TV with even more movies and twice the video games those British bastards have,” We laughed, but I was determined not to mess this tour up. I loved BMTH more than life itself, but I was completely jealous of their success.
“Hey, Jay, what do you say we go meet our fellow tour mates?” I gave her that evil grin that I always had, and she matched hers with my own. “Get the guns.”

Jayden grabbed both of our super soaker water guns and waited for the guys from Bring Me to come out of there luxury bus.
It only took a few minutes, but our telepathic game plan came into play with Matt and Tom came out first, followed by Oli. Before we could yell our surprise, we ran at them, but they had brought their own surprise, hey too all had water guns and water balloons, full on ready to attack.
I shot first, beginning The Battle of Houston, TX.
It was full on war, and all of us were drenched within seconds.
“No fair, that was our welcome to you!” I screamed as Matt picked me up and slung me over his shoulder, spinning us around.
“Too late, love. We’ve played this game numerous times,” the both of us were laughing so hard, my stomach began to hurt.
“Just you wait, Matt old boy,” I tried to mimic my best British accent; “I’ll get you, and your little band too.”

We both fell into the grass, when I spotted a short tattooed ginger, followed by three dark haired tattooed men, and a giant.
I went quiet, seeing exactly who I couldn’t have waited to meet in my entire life. It felt like time stopped and we were the only ones on the planet, cliché I know, but as soon as our eyes locked onto each others, all I saw was him.
“You guys started the party without us?” Alan, the one and only ginger princess, spoke up. He sounded amused, but also hurt.
“Took you all long enough,” Jayden yelled, water balloon in hand. “Are you all ready for the fury that is Jayden Core?” She grinned and I saw Austin, the giant, start charging at her.
“Run, bitch, run!” Jay ran as fast as her long legs could take her. Jayden wasn’t completely average height, her arms and legs were longer than an average person, as were her fingers. I never understood why, sometimes I think she knew but never told me. That’s not cool, since we’re besties and besties don’t keep secrets from each other, right?
Oh well, whatever. Eventually, Austin caught up with her, and she pelted the water balloon right into his chest, and he tackled her right into the ground. It was kind of cute, except for the fact that he was like five years older than her.

I got up off of Matt and went over to say hello.
“Hi! I’m Autumn Sunn, vocal mastermind and supermegafoxyawesomehot bassist for Disintegrated. Over there is my partner in crime, and lead guitarist Jayden.” I smiled big and bright, which made the ever-so-lovely ginger smile back. “So is it true about gingers, do you really steal souls?”
He laughed. “That depends, do you feel empty inside?” He winked and I blushed, trying to think of something not-lame to say.
“Not as long as you’re around me, baby cakes.” I puckered my lips at him and blew him a kiss.
He pretended to grab my air kiss and brought it close to his heart.

This tour was going to be awesome.
