Chapter 5:
Daniella’s Pov: I pull into my driveway and sit on the porch which still didn’t have a roof so I was still getting rained on I refused to go inside because I didn’t want Dad to see me cry. Then a taxi pulls in. Out steps Alan and he walks up, wipes my tears and says “you honestly think I’m letting you go that easily again? You better take a second guess because that’s not the case!” he kisses me. All of my worries and my fears melt away. He pulls away and looks me in the eyes “This feels right in every way. I was wrong Dani I shouldn’t have let you drive off that night I should’ve just chased or stopped you but I didn’t.” I smile “that’s the past no need to dwell on it.” He laughs and says “fine I won’t.”
Alan POV: I still don’t have her yeah I kissed her but I don’t have her. “Well I better get going.” She grabs me as I walk away “oh never mind.” She releases me. I get back into the taxi and leave. The whole drive back I think about everything from my place in the band to her. I get a text from Austin “dude where are you we have to leave.” “Be there in 10.” My frown continued to consume my face. I didn’t tell her I was leaving again I didn’t want to leave her in tears again. I get out of the taxi and step on the tour bus feeling like an asshole.
