The Invisible Girl
Her Coldness
[Alan's POV]
Sam is still quiet. I bet she got pissed off of what I did.
I felt she walked up the stairs first leaving me behind. "A little help please?"
She stopped. "You said you can do it on your own. You managed to walk down the stairs easily, then you can do it again." she flatly said to me.
"I lied." Finally, giving up my pride.
She didn't answer. Then I suddenly felt her hands on my arms. I can't help but let out a smile.
"Wait!"
"What?" she's clearly pissed now.
I put my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me.
I felt she startled a bit but she didn't react nor pull away.
'Is there something wrong?' I wanted to ask but I chose not to.
Lately, I can feel that she's avoiding me. I can feel her coldness.
I don't want to entertain these thoughts but sometimes I feel like she's only here because of pity. Maybe she don't love me anymore. Maybe she was being forced by my mother.
'Damn!'
