-Austin’s POV-

I awoke in a sweat and almost hit my head off of the top bunk.

I just had a dream that Scarlett was pregnant with Vic’s kid. How the fuck did my mind pull that one together?

“Aus? You okay in there?” Tino asked.

“Just a bad dream.” I said.

“You do realize it’s like 5PM, right?”

“Well now I do.” I replied.

“Hey Tino is Austin up?” I heard a familiar voice ask, then I realized that it was Tony. What was he doing here?

“He just got up” Tino replied.

I heard footsteps approaching my bunk.

“Austin, can you get up please? We have a situation.” Tony said.

“What?” I asked as I crawled out of my bunk.

“Scarlett’s having a breakdown…she’s been asking for you and we didn’t know where you were…”

“Whose bus is she on?” I asked.

“All Time Low’s…Alex is trying to calm her down and it isn’t working.” Tony said and I could tell that he just wanted me to go there and quit asking questions. The big one I had is when the fuck did her and Alex get close? Oh well, if she wants me there, I need to go, I can’t lose her now.

“Okay. Let me change I’ll meet you in the front” I said.

Tony walked onto All Time Low’s bus and I followed. Jack and Rian were sitting in the front and they just said “hi” and went back to their phones.

The back lounge was a scene that I couldn’t believe that I was seeing.

Alex was holding Scarlett, as she was full on balling. What happened?

“Scar” I said. She looked up to me, half smiling that I actually came.

“Can, can I be alone with him?” She asked Tony and Alex.

“Yeah” Alex said and let her go. They left and there was Scarlett and I.

I sat down next to her.

“What’s wrong dear?” I asked hesitantly.

“The past is catching up with me again and I just feel it all and I don’t know what to do I guess I was using Vic as a force to not think about everything and now he’s gone and he cheated and then there’s you I’m a wreck Austin.” She said all in one breath.

“Whoa, slow down there. Let’s start with Vic is an asshole and you deserve better.” I said, and then realized how bad that sounded like I was the better choice.

“Like you?” she questioned.

“I didn’t say that” Great come back Austin. You’re an idiot.

“I miss us Austin” she said. Holy shit.

“Me too” I said without thinking, now I really was sounding desperate.

“I’ve done terrible things Austin, you have no idea.” She said and started crying again.

“Hey come here” I said and pulled her into my arms. “Don’t say that”.

“You don’t know about what happened when I disappeared though, you don’t know!” she said and pulled away.

“Tell me when you’re ready, till then I’m here for you.” I said looking into her eyes.

Somehow our faces were only inches apart and we all know what was about to happen next. I didn’t want to take advantage of the situation, so I let her come closer.

2 years couldn’t break the spark when Scar pressed her lips to mine. All I thought about was her lips moving with mine as I put my one hand to her face and the other around her waist. Her arms were both around my neck. We were making out. Two years couldn’t kill the passion we contained for each other.

She pulled away first.

“I’m sorry…I…I don’t know why I did that…” she said and shy Scarlett appeared, I knew she was still in there. She covered her face which made me laugh.

“Don’t apologize. I went for it too. It was nice Scar.” I said and she uncovered her face.

“I miss you” she said.

“I miss you” I said back.

“Austin. When I disappeared, I did bad things to get myself money or a roof over my head every night.” She said and I saw the pain in her eyes.

“You don’t have to do this” I said.

“No Aus, you deserve the truth. You were in an institution because of me. You need to know.” She said.

The truth of what happened to her when she left me when I was in hell was about to come out.

Could I handle it? How cautious she’s being makes me wonder.
