An Alan Ashby Fanfiction

I woke up in a bed. Not my bed, someone else’s bed. I got out of the bed, the pain in my ribs making itself present again, and I walked out to find someone. And I did find someone, all five someones.
“What happened?” I asked them.
“CC spun you around, you cried out in pain, and then you passed out from the pain and landed in Ashley’s arms.” Andy explained to me.
Before I could begin freaking out about the equipment being set up, Christian spoke;
“Don’t worry about the Of Mice stage! Andy and I stayed back and did everything. So everything is set up, the instruments are out, and by now Of Mice And Men have most likely finished their sound check because it is 2:30pm and you’ve been passed out for five hours.”
Relief flooded my face and my body, which had immediately relaxed itself after Christian had spoken.
“Well guys, I really need to get going, I need to organize stuff for the boys when they finish their set and I don’t have a lot of time.” I hugged Jinxx, CC, Ashley, Jake and Andy before I left.
“You know what? I’ll walk you to your set.” Andy said as he ran to my side.
“Okay.” I smiled.
The walk to the stage wasn’t very far away, Andy and I made small talk over his girlfriend, life on the Of Mice And Men bus and whatnot. Once we reached the stage Of Mice And Men were playing on, he hugged me and bid me farewell.
“Good luck with your concert tonight!” I said as he hugged me.
“You have good luck managing your concert tonight!” He laughed into my shoulder, “Oh, and uh, be careful with those broken ribs of yours.” I froze as Andy released me from the hug.
“You haven’t even had them fixed yet have you?” Andy peered into my eyes as I shook my head.
“I’ve been too busy but I plan on going when the tour is over.” I replied back to Andy, staring at the ground.
“This tour finishes in about four and a half months!” He exclaimed, “You need to go sooner!”
“Okay, I will.” I reassured Andy. “I’ll tell you when I’ve been, okay?” Andy nodded, signifying he was okay with it.
“Oh and Andy?” I asked before Andy walked back to his tour bus, “How did you know? About the…” I ran my hand in a circle over my broken ribs.
“Did you forget that I’ve had broken ribs before? As soon as you started clutching your ribs and wincing in pain I knew.” He chuckled, “Stay safe!” He called out as he walked away.
I went backstage and checked my phone as I walked. Whoa I had a lot of missed calls from the guys. I arrived backstage and put my phone into my pocket and looked up at the guys. Who were all staring at me, and they looked pissed off.
