An Alan Ashby Fanfiction

Chapter Twenty-Nine

I walked onto the bus as the door was unlocked;
“Boys?” I called out, my voice echoing throughout the bus.
“Meow!” came a voice, more than likely Alan, from the lounge area. I walked down the bus to the lounge room and saw all the guys, including Jared, huddled up in blankets with water and blankets.
“It’s like 10pm and you guys are still hungover?” I said, shocked.
“Well we drank a lot!” pouted Tino, the boys nodding in agreement.
“I need a monster.” Austin whined and made his way to the kitchen. Fantastic! This was the perfect opportunity for me to apologize to Austin for snapping at him last night. I followed him to the kitchen and leaned against the counter.
“Austin, I just wanted to say that I’m sorry for acting cold towards you last night, I was just a little bit angry but because I was drunk, the anger was escalated… just a little.” I fiddled with my fingers, waiting for Austin to reply.
“Aaron?” He asked.
“I- uh, yeah. Aaron. How did you know?” I stammered.
“He told us everything this morning.” Austin said, looking at the ground.
“You do realize that everything he said… It’s not true.” I said, looking in his face, searching for an answer.
“Well, I…” Austin cleared his throat, “We don’t really know what to believe at this point.”
“Oh.” I said quietly.
“All I can say is that we don’t hate you, but we think that you need to sort out your relationships” Austin said.
What? Relationships? As in more than one?
“My ex-wife cheated on me so I don’t take cheated lightly. So you need to have a good, long, hard think before you end up hurting Alan.” Austin gave me a hug and left the kitchen to go back into the lounge room.
What the fuck? I had no fucking idea what Austin was talking about! I stood in the kitchen, in my own little world. I was so deep in thought that I didn’t see Jared walk into the kitchen.
“Victoria” He said seductively with a sly grin. “I’ve been meaning to have a chat with you. Let’s take a walk.” He grabbed my arm roughly and dragged me towards the door.
“Wait, let me just tell the guys-” I started to say, frantically.
“No need. I’ll tell them.” Jared said as he walked towards the lounge area. “Be a good girl and stay there.” He said loud enough for only me to hear. If I could move I would, I would run into the Pierce The Veil bus and hide. But I was frozen in fear. I would be all alone with Jared with probably no one around.
God help me.
