An Alan Ashby Fanfiction

Once I had finished my story, Mike held me and let me cry into his shoulder for about 20 minutes.
“Thank you” I said, “For this” I was fresh out of tears by now and Mike was still holding me, slowly rocking me back and forth.
“Hey anytime, you’re like a sister to me. I hate seeing you upset.” Mike kissed the top of my head. “Do you think you would be ok coming back to the party? Tony, Jaime, Pablo and I were really missing you.” I chuckled at Mike calling Vic ‘Pablo’.
“Yeah.” I smiled, “I’ve had a good cry, now I just need to man up and get on with my life!” I stood up and grabbed a pair of black ballet flats and pulled them onto my feet. I then went over to my mirror and make up;
“Bear with me.” I smiled at Mike as I began brushing my powder over my face and adding some light blush. Now I looked like I hadn’t just been balling my eyes out.
“As perfect as ever!” Mike murmured into my ear as he took my hand and lead me out of my room and out of the Of Mice And Men tour bus.
Once we entered the Pierce The Veil tour bus there was a cheer followed by a Mexican “aayyyeee!” which was a drunk Victor.
“She’s back!” Jaime picked me up and spun me around.
“Indeed I am!” I smiled at him
“Victoria, it feels like I haven’t seen you in forever!” Tony hugged me.
“Tony I was only gone…” I checked the time on my phone, “Wow two hours!”
“Two hours is forever!” Tony let go of me and Vic replaced him. Vic hugged me like it was the end of the world.
“You’re back! This calls for a shot!” Vic dragged me over to the counter where he poured me a shot. I have no idea what it was but he spend five minutes making it, using about 6 different bottles of alcohol.
“Is this safe?” I asked him as I sniffed the shot. It smelt ok, kind of like cherry flavoured Coke. I swung my head back and swallowed, the warm burning flowing down my throat.
I managed to ignore everyone from Of Mice And Men for the rest of the night. I really wasn’t in the mood to talking to anyone of them. Lucky for me, Mike was more than willing to welcome me into every conversation and dance he had. While I was dancing with Mike and Tony, I felt someone tap my shoulder; it was Austin;
“Hey!” He smiled at me, “It’s 4am and the guys and I are leaving, are you coming with?”
“No.” I glared at him. My glare seemed to catch him by surprise as he stammered with his next sentence.
“Okay, well we are leaving s-so we’ll just leave the door unlocked for you I guess” Austin leaned in to give me a hug, but I pulled away.
“I’m sleeping here tonight Austin. If I don’t make it to the bus before we leave for Las Vegas then I’ll just ride with Pierce The Veil to Las Vegas.” I turned my back and walked away from Austin, leaving him confused. I heard Tino ask him what I said and I heard Austin respond with; “I don’t know man, she’s fucking crazy.”
