Another You

When we got back to Austin's I went inside with my bags of clothes that is had bought and went up to his room to get my pyjamas. Once I had folded my clothes up and was in my nightwear I went to see what Austin was doing. When I was at the bottom of the stairs I could smell popcorn.

"Austin?" I shouted

"In here" He shouted back from the kitchen, I walked in and saw him pouring the popcorn into the massive bowl he had in his hand. "You ready to watch your favourite Disney film?" He smiled

"If you have remembered what my favourite Disney film is I am going to be extremely impressed with you" I smiled and pecked his lips. We walked into the living room and sat on the couch, he got the remote and pressed play.

"Are you impressed?" He cheekily laughed

"You actually did remember, and yes I am" I smiled and grabbed a hand full of popcorn. I put my head on his chest and traced his tattoos, I saw a big scar, the scar that I also saw at the beach. "Austin, can I ask you something?" I said

"Yeah sure" He looked nervous

"If you don't want to tell me it's fine but, what's that scar on your chest for?" I asked quietly, gesturing towards it.

"I had open heart surgery" He told me

"What? Why? Are you okay?" I gasped and rose up in shock

"Yes, I'm fine" He chuckled "You remember when my mom had that heart condition?" I nodded "Well It's called Marfans Syndrome, its a hereditary disorder of connective tissue, that's the reason why I am so tall and lanky, and I have a crappy heart" He explained

"When did you have surgery?" I asked shocked

"When I was 22, but I am good now" He smiled and kissed my forehead

"Will it ever happen again?" I asked

"It might do, but I doubt it" He smiled

"You better be telling me the truth" I laughed

"Scouts honour" He held up three fingers, I just laughed

"How is your mom and dad?" I smiled

"My dad is good he lives in Costa Rica, he loves it over there" He smiled but then it faded when he spoke about his mom "And my mom... well she's... up there with the angels" I immediately put my hand over my mouth, tears formed in my eyes, she was like a second mom to me

"Austin I am so sorry I didn't know, seriously I am sor..." I got interrupted

"Isobel its fine, honestly, you didn't know... she passed away when I was seventeen, she passed because of the Marfans Syndrome" He weekly smiled

"Oh my god, I should have been there to help you and I wasn't, I'm sorry" I felt the tears fall down my cheeks

"Oh god, please don't cry, It wasn't your fault, you were only 15 when you left, you couldn't exactly say 'oh I'm not going stuff you all' You had to go and I respect that" He stopped him self to say something else "You know she always loved you, a year before she died she said to me that I am going to see you one day again and I am going to fall completely in love with you" He smiled and too my face in his hands "And I know she was right because there is proof, I know we have only been together for a few hours, but I have known you all my life and I always had a crush on you" He chuckled "But... I...love you, I always have and I always will" he kissed me passionately, I smiled into the kiss.

"I love you too" I kissed him again.
