Another You

I woke up in agony, the amount of pain that was pulsating through my body was unreal. Images of last night kept popping up in my head... being forced to do things with someone who I don't love... someone who I don't feel any feelings towards them but hate.

I managed to get up out of the bed and gather up my discarded clothes from last night and got in the shower.

"Isobel?... Where are you" I heard him in the bedroom looking for me. By this point I was already in the shower washing my hair.

"I'm in the shower I will be out in a minute" I said

"Okay hurry up because we need to go back to the dress shop" He replied, I heard is voice getting fainter, he was walking away.

I finished washing my self and got out to get ready for the rest of this horrible day.

We walking into the shop to be met by the rest of Andy's friends, I recognised a few but not many.

"Isobel! You're back!" Lucy, the only girl who was nice enough to actually be my friend... she was the only one I missed. She came running over to me and engulfed me into a well deserved hug.

Lucy was the same as me. We were both in love with our partners at first it was all sweet but quickly turned sour. She was the only one who would listen to me when I had problems with Andy, her boyfriend is the same, abusive, controlling and mentally insane. She was also the only person who knew why I ran, I felt bad for leaving her but I needed to escape before it was too late and now... well we're right back were we started.

"I have missed you so much" She said loud enough for only me to hear "Nothing has changed since you've been gone"

"I can tell" I whispered.

"Right are we ready to get started?" Andy said, basically pulling us apart. I nodded and went to the back room with the rest of the girls and got into out own changing rooms. I needed to put my dress on again to make sure the measurements were correct and to see if the other dresses looked nice with mine.

"Excuse me miss do you need some help?" the shop assistant knocked on my door.

"Yes please" I unlocked the door and let her in.

"You don't look very happy about this engagement if I do say so my self" I looked at my self in the mirror. She was right.. I mean I know I don't want to do this but recently I have realised how much it is physically draining me.

"To be honest I don't want to marry him... this whole thing was forced." I huffed

"Wait a minute... Do you know anyone called Austin... he's got a bunch of tattoos, quite tall?" She asked

"Yeah, I do he's my boyfrie... well ex I suppose" I bowed my head

"He came in yesterday looking for you, he said he was going to come back when you're here as well. He gave me his number in case I was to see you again" She smiled

"Oh my god.. he's looking for me?" I breathed "Have you got your phone, could I ring him?" I was speaking really fast. Happy because I might be able to speak to him, scared because if I get caught I don't think I will see tomorrow.

"Yeah sure... Here" She pulled her phone out and dialled the number "Here it's ringing" She passed me the phone as I listened to the rustling of someone picking up the phone.

"Hello?" His familiar voice made my eyes well up with tears.

"Austin?" I whispered trying not to be loud so everyone could hear me.

"Isobel" He almost shouted down the phone "Is it really you?" I heard his voice break

"Yeah baby it's really me.. Listen you can't come and get me just yet, please what ever you do just don't come to this shop. He's here with his friends and if they see you Austin they will kill you. I swear just please do this for me" I cried

"But I need you back here with me. I need you by my side, I need you listening to my heart beat at night saying you're glad it's okay. I need you to tell me off for drinking to many energy drinks a day. I love you to much to just let you slip through my fingers." He was crying.

"I know that Austin.. But you can't come here right now, I promise you that if you leave this today I will try to get back to you somehow because trust me I do not want to be here." I chuckled a little bit trying to lighten the mood.

"Okay... I love you so fucking much. I miss waking up to your beautiful face." I could tell this was really hurting him.

"I love you too. I will see you soon okay?" I cried even more.

"I love you more.. bye Isobel" He said

"Bye Aust" I put the phone down and looked at the assistant. "Thank you so much for that, really." I hugged her.

"No problem" She hugged back.

"I didn't catch your name" I smiled

"Emma" She replied and smiled back. "You should come in sometime again this week by your self and lie saying something like 'they need to correct the measurements' and when you get here Austin will be here to see you, I will arrange it for you with him?" She said.

"I don't know.."

"I saw your face when you were speaking to him, personally I think you need to see him." She smiled, this could work right?

"Okay, I will do it." I replied and got on with the rest of the fittings.
