Another You

I put the small piece of paper back down were I found it and rushed to the pier. Pulling out of the driveway I tried to slow down my speed as I was anxious to what was happening.. I was so confused. I spotted the pier just in front of me the sun was setting behind it making the few clouds look like orange and red candy floss.

I parked the car and hopped out and went searching for Austin.

"Austin!" I shouted but there was nothing but silence that filled the air. I spotted a tall figure standing next to the tree at the top of the hill just beside the pier, I walked towards the black silhouette as he maintained his place next to the towering tree.

"Austin? Is that you?" I asked unsure of if it was and if not then who is it?

I was then close enough to see that he was just standing there with tape around his mouth and from the way he was standing something was held to his back, that's when Andrew came from behind him.

"Finally! We were starting to think you weren't going to come" He smirked and held the gun to Austin's side digging it into the wound he had created before, he writhed in pain as he kept torturing him.

My fears had finally come true seeing Austin.. my love being tortured my someone who has been watching me from every corner for years, then finally being hunted down by the mental person. Seeing him in pain because of my crazed ex made me sick to the stomach, all of this pain he his experiencing right now is because of me.. it's all my fault.

I stood there, frozen taking in the events of what's happening, processing the images in my mind and the tears that rolled down my face showing the amount of fear, despair and sorry I was feeling.. that was when it all became real.

"Please stop! I'm begging you... just please leave him!" I shouted hoping he would listen.. and he did.

"Why do you want ME TO STOP! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS CAUSED THIS! YOU SHOULD NEVER HAD LEFT ME!" He shouted back at me, the veins on his neck popping out showing the amount of anger that was coming out of him.

"I'm sorry.. please just don't hurt him! I will do what ever you want" I whispered just so he could hear me but as soon as I said those last seven words I looked into Austin's eyes and saw the shock and anger he had.. but he was tied up so he had no use in helping.

"Yes you will do what ever I want, you know why? Because you are mine and that means you come back HOME with me and put that pretty ring back on your finger!" He walked closer to me and spat in my face as if this was a sign that it was going to sink in more "You got that?"

I nodded, I turned back around to look at Austin and mouthed 'I love you' I wiped the tears from my cheeks and carried on walking to my car with Andy.

This was going to be a start of a new and terrible life. I already hated it.
