Bones Exposed [Sequel to: Those In Glass Houses]

Anne sat and flipped through the TV. She settled on a random movie, forcing herself to watch it while she waited for the band or Blessing to come back first. A knock on the door was heard and she walked over, opening it and seeing Austin. “Blessing is with Sarah at your merch tent. You can go over and see her there.” Before she closed the door, Austin stopped her.

“Wait, I want to talk to you.” Anne sighed and allowed him in.

“What is it?” She asked as he walked in.

“Marie, you need to hear my side of the story. You can’t keep shutting me out like this. Please listen to me.” Austin pleaded. Anne sighed and shook her head.

“There’s nothing to talk about Austin.” She spoke, walking to the door to lead him out when Austin grabbed her elbow

“Marie, you are the love of my life. I want and need you back in my life with my daughter. I can’t have Gielle sign the papers and that’s the only problem.” Anne watched as Austin spoke and pulled her closer. “Don’t shut me up. Don’t force me to leave. I need you and I want you back with my daughter.” Anne was about to protest when his mouth fell on hers.

The will power to fight was gone and her arms wrapped around his neck. Austin pulled her closer and his hands held her lower back, afraid that she was going to leave him. His hands moved down to the back of her thighs and pulled them around his waist.

“Austin, no. Please, not here.” Austin let out a deep groan and his mouth latched on to her neck.

“Don’t reject me.” His voice came out in a sort of plead. Anne moaned out and he pushed her against the wall, pressing his body close to hers. Austin began unbuttoning her pants while Anne desperately tried to take his shirt off. They moved to the couch, Austin hovering over her as they both quickly discarded their clothes. In no time, they were both panting for air as Austin held on to her tightly.

“Fuck, I missed you baby.” He whispered, hugging her body to his as she clawed at his back.

“So, I’ll stop by tomorrow to see Blessing.” Austin looked over at Anne who was putting her shirt on.

“Yeah, I’ll make sure she’s here.” She avoided eye contact, answering quickly. Austin walked over and kissed her softly, Anne returning it.

“I love you Marie.” He spoke, pulling away. Anne watched as he left, sitting on the couch and hugging her legs.

What did I just do? She thought.
