Love Knows No Age.

I walked home alone from school thinking about a song. It was one I had written about a week ago and I wanted to record it on my computer. My dad got me some things so that I could record on my computer without having crappy quality.

I had reached my drive and noticed that all the guys were over. I got butterflies but I pushed them away and walked inside.

"Hey dad I am home" I called from the foyer

"Hey sweetie, did you walk Jen home?" Dad asked. I froze I had yet to tell him that my friend Jen moved to New York a year ago and hasn't talked to me since.

"Uh yeah, she couldn't come over" I said walking into the living room so I could see everyone.

"Well, I guess we will just hangout together tonight then huh?" I nodded. Today was Friday meaning I could stay up and sleep in.

"Yeah, but I am going up to my room right now to do somethings on my computer and then I will come down" I said waving to everyone and leaving.

I sat on the floor with everything I needed to record the song. I had my songbook with scribbled lyrics all over it, A mic, A pop protector and my computer. I hit record and began to pour every emotion imaginable.

I finished the song and clicked the edit button when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in if you must" I giggled knowing it was Uncle Tino.

"Hey P, that was beautiful. Who was it about?" He asked as he sat next to me

"How do you know its about someone? it could be symbolic" I blushed

"Well if it is symbolic that thing can't have eyes and it says in your song that it does. so shall we try again?" He laughed

"Its about a boy" I told truthfully

"Oh, what one?" I shook my head

"No, that I shall never tell" I laughed

"Oh yes you will!" He shouted as he chased after me.

I ran to the living room laughing all the way there. I was out of breath as I sat on the couch next to Phil and Alan.

"Wow whats got you out of breath?" Dad asked

"Uncle Tino was chasing me" I gigled

"Yeah only because she wouldn't tell me who the boy is that the song she wrote is about" I blushed and hid my face in my hands.

"Oh I didn't know my little P-nut liked a boy" Dad smiled.

"Yeah who is it little lady?" Phil asked and I shook my head

"No I am not going to tell you anything. As a matter of fact I am going to stay at Austin's tonight" I laughed

"Why? you stayed there yesterday too" Dad asked

"Because he is the only one that doesn't get into my business" I said frustrated. I looked over to see Austin smiling.

"Well boys I don't know if you could tell or not but I think I am the favorite of the night" He said triumphantly.

"You are always her favorite ever since she was nine when you bought her that giant bear" Alan mocked

"Well I am going to get changed and then I want to leave" I said running towards the stairs.

I walked back down the stairs to see that every one had gone home.

"Bye dad, see you tomorrow" I smiled as I gave him a hug.

"Bye May, behave and I am sorry if I upset you earlier" I shook my head

"No, you didn't its just you know I am a private person and I like to keep things to myself" He nodded and I got into Austin's car.
