Like Loving A Lion (SEQUEL to I'm Not That Perfect)

"This is so beautiful." I sighed, at the beach on Lanai Island in Hawaii with my new husband. "I've never been so happy in my entire life."
"Neither have I. Let's stay here forever." Austin said, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Quit our bands and they'll never know what happened to us. We can hide out on the beach during the day and fuck in the forest at night."
"Tempting. Continue." I replied, leaning into him and shutting my eyes.
"Like, you know how everyone says Elvis and Hitler and Marilyn never really died and they were really just hanging out on a remote island somewhere? We could do that. There's a pineapple farm in Honolulu we could work at if we wanted to, not that we need the money. And we could adopt eighteen little Pacific Islanders." He went on.
I turned around, putting my arms around his neck. "Let's do it."
"Me and you. Forever."
"Forever." I agreed.
He checked his watch. "We should get going. We've got to catch the boat."
"Boat?"
He grinned. "To Oahu."

"I've always wanted to see Waikiki." I smiled, hand in hand with Austin as we walked down the street on Oahu island.
"Look." Austin pointed at one of the streetside carts.. "You would look so perfect in one of those flower crowns."
I smiled. "If you think so."
"I know so. Not that you don't look perfect always." Austin smiled, walking over to the lady behind the cart. "Can we get one of the flower crowns please?"
"Just married?" She asked, looking at us and smiling. We nodded. "Love is for those who have been deprived. It's an old saying."
Austin set the crown on top of my beach-waved hair. "Gorgeous." He said, leaning down to kiss me. We continued on our way.
"How long do we get to stay here?" I asked. He'd kept the details on everything to himself since it was a surprise.
"As long as my princess wants to." He replied.
"Really?" I beamed.
"Really."
"I love you so much. I don't tell you often enough." I kissed the love of my life and I knew I never needed anything more.
