Like Loving A Lion (SEQUEL to I'm Not That Perfect)

I was in the shower on one of the last dates of tour when I heard Austin come in. “Where’s the lady?”
“In the shower. She’s been in there for like a year.” Matt replied.
I rolled my eyes and wondered if he would come in here. Austin hadn’t seen me naked since we’d gotten back together.
“Oh, Princess?” Austin called in a singsong voice. “Can I come in?”
“Sure.” I said.
He opened the door and stepped inside our tiny bathroom, looking at me curiously. “What are you doing on the floor?”
“Trying to shave. It’s not working very well.” I sighed. “I miss my bathtub.”
“You can come use mine. It’s huge, you’ll love it.” He smirked as I stepped out, watching. “In fact, we can use it together.”
I giggled as he put his hands on my waist and pulled me in. “Austin, I’m all wet.”
“You’re about to be.” He kissed my neck.
“Austin.” I said, taking a step back.
He frowned. “You don’t want me?”
“Of course I do. Just not in this small bathroom when the guys in my band are five feet away. That’s all. We’ll be home in three days and you can take me to this massive house of yours and do whatever you want to me, okay?” I said, putting my hands on his chest.
“I hear you, baby girl. Three days,” He whispered huskily in my ear, “Three days and I’m going to fuck you until you can’t walk.”

“Austin!” I cried as he led me into his new house. “It’s beautiful!”
“I’m glad you think so.” Austin smiled wryly.
“Double islands! Double ovens! Do you have any idea how much shit I can bake in here?” I cried. “And then when I need a break I can go get a bottle from the fucking wine room? How sick is this?”
“I-”
“And the pool is so big. Wow, Austin. This place is perfect.” I sighed, happily. “So. . . bathtub?”
He laughed. “You’ve never been one to waste time.”
I followed him upstairs and into his master bathroom. I gasped when I saw it. The house was on a cliff near the beach and the bathroom overlooked the water. The bathtub was massive; it could fit at least four people and it was surrounded on all sides by windows with amazing views. It was also made of glass so it was clear.
“Austin,” I said slowly, “I think I wanna fuck the bathtub.”
“Ave. Please don’t fuck the bathtub.” He said carefully.
I started stripping while Austin stared, then turned the water on and sat down inside. “Aren’t you coming?”
“Oh. Right, yeah.” He blinked, climbing in behind me and sitting back, putting his arms around me. “This is nice.”
“Isn’t it?” I laid my head against his chest and listened to his perfectly uneven heartbeat.
“Can I ask you something?” He ask tentatively.
“Anything.”
“What was it like? You and. . . You and Ronnie?” He asked.
“He seems like a monster, doesn’t he? I’m sure he must seem like this terrible, awful person, but the thing is that he wasn’t. He wasn’t at all. I can’t count the nights were he’d listen to me crying and ranting like some crazy woman. He was there for me. He was my best friend. Can you imagine what it feels like when the only person you have hurts you? Physically hurts you? And then he says he’s sorry and it’ll never happen again and you’re perfect and he didn’t mean to. . . but then he does it again a week later. It really wears down on you after a while but you stay because you don’t really have anyone else.” I didn’t realize I was crying until Austin wiped my eyes for me.
“We’re going to do things right this time, baby girl. Last time we were young and we didn’t know what we were doing. This time it’ll be better, I promise.” He said, kissing my temple. “And nothing’s going to get between us.”
“That sounds perfect.” I smiled, squeezing my eyes shut.
“Me and you, Princess. I promise.”
