Please Come Home Safe

I woke up cuddled on Austins chest with his arm loosely around my waist, I looked up to his peaceful, still sleeping face, I smiled to myself and carefully removing his arm over enough so I could get up, quietly I gathered some fresh clothes together and quietly walked in to the bathroom closing the door behind me and setting the clothes down on the counter and turned to turn the water on. After I had gotten my shower I dried off, got dressed, and blow dried my hair enough to put it in a messy bun, opening the door to walk out I see Austin still in the same place I left him I just smiled and shook my head exiting the room quietly and walked down the stairs and in to the kitchen to stop in my tracks when I saw a very tired looking Alan sitting at the counter messing around with his phone, "Alan?" I looked at him a bit confused as to why he was awake so early, "Oh, Hey." He simple said as he looked up to me for a split second and then back to whatever he was doing with his phone, "Something wrong? I mean it is quite early." I walked around the counter to be in front of him, "Yeah I kinda know that, It's just I couldn't sleep." I looked at him a little worried because I knew something had to be wrong, "Alan, tell me the truth, you know you can't lie, you know I will listen to you if you want." He sighed putting his phone down, he rubbed his face with his hands before looking at me, "Me and my girlfriend have been having some trouble with our relationship, me being gone for so long I know it gets lonely for her but I just don't know anymore." He said looking down at the counter, "So that's why you're staying here for a little while then?" I began, " I know it does get pretty lonely but I know she loves you and you love her, I mean you two have been together for years now, I'm sure it'll work out." Alan looked up to me with a little hope shining in his eyes, "I hope you're right," I heard him say while I thought of something to make for breakfast, "Well how about I somewhat try to cheer you up with a little breakfast?" He smiled, "Oh my god I got a smile from the tired Alan and I'll take that as a yes." He chuckled, shaking his head and went back to his phone while I cooked.

A little while later I had made us eggs, bacon, biscuits, and small pancakes I made a bit extra just incase, I heard somebody walking down the stairs and of course it was Austin, "Well good morning early bird." I brightly smiled, "Morning." He still sounded like he was half asleep so I just told Alan and Austin to sit down and that I would fix their plates, after fixing their plates I put them down on the counter in front of them, "Feels like it's been forever since I ate a home cooked meal." Alan beamed, putting a smile on my face, "Well if you'd come over more you would have more." I pointed and then it hit me I have work today mentally facepalming I ate a few more bites and then throwed the rest away, the guys looked up at me with a confused faces, "Sorry guys I just forgot I have work today." I quickly walked up the stairs to get my purse and headed back down stairs seeing Alan standing at the bottom, "Want me to drive you?" I shrugged in response, "Sure."
