Innocence is just a lie.

"See you tomorrow" I yelled over my shoulder as I quickly skipped off to my beat up trans am, it was my dads before he died- he didn't leave it to me, hell we didn't get along at all, but I loved the car and my mom thought I should have it. An easy form of transport to and from school because she works a lot and is hardly ever home-what with all the business trips and such. The drive home was filled with the sweet sounds of my chemical romance as it blared through my speakers at an extremely unnecessary volume until I arrived home, my mothers over expensive car parked neatly in the driveway soon joined by my mashed up vehicle. I grabbed my backpack, locking my car as I walked up to my front door, "MOM! I'm home" My voice grew quieter as I noticed the bags piled by the front door and the two voices in the kitchen.

My footsteps were almost silent as I crept into the room that was indeed occupied by my mother and a man talking over a steaming mug. My name being mentioned a few times more than I'd have liked. I let a small cough leave my lips, making it just loud enough to catch their attention which it did indeed do. "Oh, I'm glad you're back. My plane leaves in an hour, I didn't think I'd get to say goodbye." My mom said, quickly standing up and walking towards me to embrace me in a hug, "I'm leaving for six months, soo... I asked my friend Lizzie-You know Liz right? (Idk what Kellin's mum is called...:) If she could get her son, Kellin to watch out for you while I'm gone" She rushed, pulling away from the hug to tell me her plans. I just nodded along not really caring, I mean she leaves me alone most of the time anyway it's not like it's a difference. She left after she finished her speech, disappearing with a quick bye. Thus leaving me in the hands of a stranger.
