I walked inside and went straight to my room. I started my homework to try and get ahead in all my classes again.
Knock knock.

"Come in!" I said without looking up from my books.

"Hey Juliette." My dad said. I instantly looked up at him questioningly. He never comes into my room, he'll usually call me into the dining room or wherever he is when he needs me. After a few seconds of shock I jumped out of bed and stood up straight.

"Yes Staph Sargent Sir!" I said and he chuckled at me.

"At ease cadet." So I sat down on my bed.

"What's up dad?"

"Just wanted to make sure you were ok, still got your whistle?" I shook my head.

"Yup."

"Pepper spray?"

"Full and ready to spray."

"Tazer?"

"Charged and ready to taze." Yea I know, he's pretty crazy with all the stuff but I know how to use it. He actually pepper sprayed me and tazed me once so I knew what it felt like and that they weren't toys, he did it at a training camp and oh. My. God. It hurt like a bitch!

" ok good. Umm can you try not to leave the house to much, there have been in increase of wolf sightings and I don't want you getting hurt."

"Uhh sure dad, just school and back."

"Ok. Good, good. Uhh Juliette?"

"Yea?"

"I love you. You know that right? I know I haven't said it since mom but I do."

"Yea I know. I love you too."

" ok umm... Good night?" He said but it sounded more like a question. I laughed at his awkwardness.

"Good night dad." He nodded and closed the door. What's up with him? That was too weird. I finished up my homework and tried to go to sleep. Key word tried. But it was hard, I kept thinking of Austin and his smile, then my dads warning about the wolfs, then oli and how familiar he looked, like I have met him before, we were so comfortable around each other. I finally went to sleep and woke up what felt like five minutes later. I got dressed in a strapless high-low dress, it was a cream white on top, then a black belt at my belly button and the bottom was black. I grabbed my boots cause it was still kinda cold and went out my house to walk with Austin. He asked me if I wanted to go to his house today and I had to try and explain why I couldn't, again, the key word being try.

"So you can't come over because your dads afraid that a wolf will eat you." It was more of an accusation then a question.

" I don't know, he just said something about a lot of wolfs and to stay inside, he just worries to much."

"Ok fine, if you didn't want to hang tonight, all you had to say was no." He said mockingly. I punched his arm and he looked down at me. He had this look in his eye, a sparkle. He smiled so wide, I couldn't help but to smile just as hard. He stopped walking and had this weird look on his face like he was thinking about something and then he leaned forward. Are lips pressed together and his hands came up and caressed my face, moving in perfect harmony. I tangled my hands in his hair and he instantly moaned which only made the kiss that much hotter. I open my mouth and his entered with no hesitation, instantly dominating. He pressed his body against mine. Things were escalating quickly so I pulled away and gasped for air. Was I not been breathing? I'm not surprised, Austin can kiss!

"Well that escalated quickly." I laughed.

"Yeah, but damn. " I shook my head in agreement.

"Come on we're going to be late. "He grabbed my hand and intertwined fingers. When we got to school he didn't let go unless I went to my locker, to sit in class, or when we had different classes. I felt like a princess in this bitch. He walked me home like usual but he kissed me when he went to leave. I ran inside to my room and did my homework. After I got on tumbler for a few and when I got off it was 11:47 PM. Will shit. I heard the front door close and I looked out my window and saw my dad and stepmom cross the street to the forest wearing camo and boots with huge black bags.

"Okay Juliette, that was too much tumblr. "I said to myself. I laid on my bed and fell sleep quickly. The next day Austin was absent so I actually got to pay attention in my classes. They all went by quickly and soon I was home. I did my work but I couldn't get what happened the other night out of my head so I decided to stay up and just like the other night I had the door open so I slipped on my vans and grab my jacket jumped out of my window because it's quicker them going through my house. I followed them out into the woods. I kept my distance but kept them in eyesight.

"Juliet? "Austin said.

"Shh, be quiet. "I angrily whispered. Wait. Austin?

"Austin? What are you doing? "

"Helping Oli find lee. "

"Oli? "

"Yes?" Oli said popping from behind a tree.

"Oh God. " I mumbled.

"What are you doing? "

"Following my parents, got to go. "I said walked away but they followed me "what are you doing? "

"Following you." Austin said as if it were completely obvious.

"I know that! why? "

"I dunno. "

"Whatever, just don't get me caught. "I said. There was no way I was going to make a werewolf and shape shifter do anything they didn't want to do. We follow them for about a mile until they went down the steep hill and into a cave.

"What now? "Austin asked.

"I don't know but I'm not going in there. "

"Well you can stay here I'm going. " Oli he said.

"Why the hell would you do that?! "I asked baffled why anyone would even think to go down there. Oli open his mouth to argue but a deep loud screen came from the cave

"Lee. " Oli breathed before sprinting down. Austin and I followed. What we found inside almost made me sick. Lee was hanging by the hands. He was shirtless with hundreds of lines littering his once flawless body. Some were older than others with brown dried blood clumped to the wounds while others were fresh with blood seeping out. His ribs were a deep dark purple. And next to him when my parents asking him questions but I couldn't hear very well and only caught a few words like werewolf, pack, and location but it was enough to know my parents were torturing him to find out where his pack was. I looked over to Austin who held Oli as he tried to run to Lee.

"Let. Me. Go. " Oli said

"they'll kill you! Do you not see those guns!?"

"I can't just sit back and watch them kill him! "Austin looked petrified body was downright pissed.

"Okay okay.. Umm, I'll distract em, and you get him. Meet in my basement, I'll call Andy, Vic and Kellin. Be careful and get the hell out of here." Oli just nodded his head. Austin took off sprinting out of the cave seconds later we heard a very loud howl. I looked at my parents and saw them talk but I couldn't hear still. My dad nodded his head and grabbed
his gear. They ran out of the cave and probably to find out where the howl came from. When they left, me and all he came from our hiding spots and Ran to Lee. He looked awful.

"I'm here buddy." Oli said.

"Oli? "

"Yeah. Just hang in there. "He picked up a blood crusted knife and swiftly cut the rope. He tossed him over his back and took off running. Lees weight didn't affect Olis running at all. We reach the house quickly and were in the basement in a matter of seconds.

"Put him on the table. " Vic ordered. Oli Carefully placed his friend on the table.

"Andy put the herbs over his cuts. Kells, give me a hand and place your other on Lee and Repeat after me. " I nops sanare"" they chanted for a while when some of his bigger cuts stop bleeding. He started breathing normally and regain consciousness.

"Okay, he'll be fine. I didn't have enough energy to completely heal him but we fixed his broken bones, internal bleeding, and collapsed lung. He should be better in a week but no changing! I mean it! "

"yeah yeah. Thanks guys."

"Leave. What the fuck happened? " Oli said. I tried not to look at him but he was probably glaring at me.

"I'm not sure. I haven't ran as a wolf in a while so I went and someone shot me with the tranquilizer. When I woke up I was tied up and alone but they were there soon and asked me where my pack was so of course I played dumb but they tortured me. I didn't say shit I swear but they just wouldn't stop. They heard a wolf and decided to try and catch it hoping to get more information. When they got back they were going to kill me. That's all I know. "For some stupid reason I decided to look at all he and he was beyond pissed.

"Juliet. Who the fuck are you?,"he yelled

"Oli, I swear having idea what the Hells going on. "

"Then why the fuck where your parents torturing Lee to find out where the pack was? "

"I. don't. Fucking. KNow! I didn't even know ware-wolves existed two weeks ago! "

"I, I think she's telling the truth. I never saw her down there. "Lee said. Thank God someone is on my side.

"It just doesn't make any fucking sense. I'm sorry Juliette, but no one messes with my pack. No one. "

"Come on Juliette. " Austin said. I followed him up the stairs and out the front door. No was talking till we were about halfway to my house.

"I know you said you didn't know anything and no one blames you okay? But If you know anything, just say it please, we won't be mad. "

"I don't know anything. I saw them leave the night before and I shooke it off but they left again tonight and I decided to follow them. I don't know why they would torture lee."

"I know. I know. Just see if you can find out anything and if you do, call me"

"yeah, okay. "And I walk to my window and jumped inside. I shut my window and saw Austin staring at me and I gave him a half-smile before closing my blinds and jumping on the bed. Thank God it's Friday.
