We finish up our desert and pay for the food. we all pile into Austin's truck and head home.

"Good show mate, your totally gettin' laid." Matt joked

"Eh piss off will ya?" Oli growled.

"Hey calm down. Don't wanna hurt my truck, she's not even a year old yet." Austin said gently to try and keep the peace.

"Guys I jus-"

"Juliette? Juliette!" someone screamed just above me. I could barely make out the voices speaking to me, everything sounded like we were under water. I just needed to take a nap. I'm so sleepy.

"Juliette, come on. get up!" someone else growled in my ear. I opened my eyes a little and saw Austin staring at me, only he's not as I left him. He's got dirt smudges on his face and a few cuts, one on his lip, cheek, and above the eyebrow.

"What? what's going on?" I asked.

"You gotta get up, I gotta get you outta here. Something hit the car we gotta go!" he grabs under my armpits and drags me out the car. when I'm free he helps me stand up and we limp over to the side.

"Juliette, I got to go. Stay here, do not move. " He says. I'm still confused so it took me a minute to understand what he said.

"Where are you..." and I looked up. No fuckin' way. Am I still asleep because this can't be real. In front of me was a pack of large wolves fighting these things. They were like nothing I've ever seen, they had green scales on the front half of there body. Horns like a bull with the face of a wolf with patches of fur and scale. The bottom half was a matted fur, grayish brown a very sick color, it was so much bigger than the wolves and there was three of them fighting a pack of wolves and a skin walker.

I really couldn't tell who was winning but it didn't look good. The noises coming from these things is what terrified me the most, it was this loud deep growl but with a whine. It gave me chills up and down my spine.

I looked around to access the situation more and saw both witches passed out about 5 feet away. I crawled over to them and checked there pulses. They were still breathing so I tried to wake them.

"Andy? Kellin? you gotta get up!" I yelled slapping there faces. They slowly woke up confused as hell but as soon as Kellin saw what was happening he looked terrified.

"Shit. Shit. Shit! Andy, bro! get up common " Kellin rushed, scrambled to get up dragging Andy with him.

"What? what are those things?" I asked.

"Those are farin. Fucking evil shits. There half wolf, half alligator. " Kellin replied.

"Why are they here ? why us?" I asked.

"Gail. The only reason those things would come here is if they were summoned. I think she's starting to build her army. " Andy said.

"But why us? why now?"

"Can't tell you." Andy said.

"It's not out story to tell. " Kellin finished.

"Ask Austin."

"If we live." Kellin added with a smile.
"Got any weapons?"

"Of course." I replied. I lifted my jacket to reveal two guns then lifted my pants a bit to reveal long silver blades.

"Great. Time to go to work." Andy said.

"Have fun bae." Kellin cooed.

"Always sweetie. " Andy smiled. We ran to where the pack and austin was fighting. It was a sight with Austin changing forms so fast. He was a lion and whenever a farin tried to hit him with its huge claw/paw he would turn into a falcon and fly away only to swoop back down and scratch anywhere he could over and over again.

I took out my guns and started shooting at ones head but it just ricochet off it.

"Fuck!" I swore.

"It's scales are tough, you gotta use your knife for this one." Kellin said as we ran. I reached down and grabbed my knife, never stopping.

"Austin!" I yelled out as I neared one. he saw me and turned from a falcon into something I've never seen before. A fucking pterodactyl. I reached my hand up and he grabbed it taking me over one of the farin before dropping me. I landed on it's back. I crawled as fast as I could and reached its horns before it went crazy trying to buck me off.

"The eyes Juliette, stab it's eye all the way till the brain." Kellin yelled as he and Andy worked on the one next to mine.

I jammed my silver blade into the things eye and it let out this horrible screech. Worse then nails on chalk board. My head started hurting and I just wanted to get as far away as I could but I had to kill it. I pushed as hard as I could. I didn't stop till half my arm was in its head. I looked up to see austin swooping down to get me before the farin crashed and killed us both.

As we hit the ground he turned into a lion again and roared. I looked around and saw that the other ones were breaking down and turning to dust.

I looked at austin. Fuck, what have I gotten myself into.
