Meet My Dedication

"My set is in half an hour, want to head over to the stage with me?" Austin and I had been looking all round at the different tents and even grabbed some food from one of the venders. I had to try not to get a beer, but Austin let me have just one.
It had become one of the best days ever. Austin had even bought me a Tilly's beanie that he thought I'd like."Yeah, of course." I nodded and he took my hand and lead me toward their performance stage.
We had gotten stopped by a few fans wanting pictures and autographs, Austin couldn't say no. I offered to take the pictures, it was the least I could do. Austin said bye to everyone and told them all to go to the stage to see him in a few minutes, and we made our way to the back of the stage.

"Austin!" Alan had yelled with his guitar strapped on his side, he was getting ready for the set that was starting in just a few minutes. "Where the fuck have you been, bro?" He looked at me, "and who's this?"
"This is Mikey, she's my date from the contest earlier. She's gonna be hanging out with me today," he smiled and squeezed me closer to his side, I couldn't help but smile.
"Hi Alan," I stretched out my arm for a hand shake, he shook my hand then hugged me.
"I'm a hugger, Mikey. I don't shake," he smiled back at me. It was adorable, and I blushed and giggled. "That's so cute! Do it again!"
I looked at him confused, "do what?"
"You giggled, and that was probably the cutest sound I've ever heard." Alan embraced me in another hug, then looked at Austin, "can we keep her?!"
Austin and I couldn't help but burst out into laughter, which caught the attention of everyone around us, including Aaron, Phil, and Tino. The rest of the guys joined in our little group and all introduced themselves to me, which I returned.
"Wait, you're name is Mikey and your a girl, and a cute one at that," Phil had said, and I giggled again.
"Well, my name's really Mikeal. I just prefer Mikey," I had said. Alan and Austin were still cooing over my giggles, and Tino had joined them. Pretty soon everyone was laughing and joking around, including me. I could hear the roar of the crowd that was piling in front of the KIA stage. "Uh, guys? Don't you have a set to perform?" I reminded them, when some of the crew members had lead the band to the stairs for the stage.
"Mikey, come to the side over here! You'll get a better view!" Aaron had called back to me, and the security guard let me go on the side of the stage where Aaron suggested. The guys were all in their places, except Austin, who was standing next to me, waiting.
He looked at me and smiled, "have fun, okay?" He kissed my cheek and side hugged me before running towards the center of the stage and yelling into the mic, "What the FUCK is up, Orlando?!"
The crowd went wild and screamed as loud as they could. It was amazing how much energy some people put into shows, even more amazing was the energy of the crowd every time Austin said something, or Aaron made a face, Tino Bashed on his symbol, or Alan and Phil jumping up and down with their guitars. The set was incredible, and I couldn't have felt more alive in that very moment in my whole life.
My heart was racing by the end of the set and I was sweating from the heat, I felt like I needed another beer. All I could find was water, and it kind of bummed me out. I knew I shouldn't want one, and I did say that I was going to behave with my drinking today. I gave in and drank some of the water bottle someone had given me.
The crowd was still roaring after the guys had made their way off the stage, but Austin remained front and center.
"Orlando, it is good to be home. I am so blessed to be here with all of you, today! I'm so proud of you for getting out of bed, and being here. Thank you all so fucking much! We love you! Have a Warped day!" He walked off the stage and came up to me and embraced me in a hug, which ended up with him twirling me around and us laughing.
"What did you think? Was it amazing? Tell me it was amazing," he laughed and held me.
I looked up at him, "that was the greatest thing I've ever seen! The way you completely moved the crowd and the music and.... oh, Austin it was incredible!" I hugged him and let my head lay on his sweaty chest. I wasn't exactly the tallest person, and I only came up to his shoulder. He just held me and his head lay on mine.
"I'm glad you had a good time. C'mon, I want to shower before our meet and greet! You coming?" He looked down at me and I nodded in return.
"Of course, we're still on our date, right?" I giggled and he took my hand and we went towards the buses again.

This was the best day ever!
