The Twisted

The Accident

Vic had made me a deal. If I had Ellie for the afternoon, he would keep her out of my way tonight and tomorrow. I know it's mean, but I'm desperate. When she's around I can feel myself winding tighter and tighter, until one day I'm just going to snap. When I do I'm visioning a lot of Ellie's blood splattered across our bus. I just don't understand why she can't keep out of everyone's way. Or at least help one of the tech. There's loads of tech to choose from on this tour. But Casey still isn't talking to me after I passed her on him before.
I was walking to our tent now. It's only been open this afternoon. Abby was already here but across by a food stand talking to Alan. I waved at them and hurried over. "Hey guys," I smiled and took a bite out of Alan's burger.
"You dumb, fool!" Alan exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and looked over at the tent. It was up.
"Who put it up?" I asked.
"Your best friend," Abby teased.
"You let her touch the tent?" I gasped.
"Come on, it's not hard," Abby rolled her eyes.
"That's right, on Warped tour you flirt with strange men to get it up," Alan added.
"One time," I shook my head. "Ellie probably paid someone to do it,"
"She isn't that bad," Alan sighed.
"Have you met her?" I laughed.
"Kay', go to your happy place," Abby tried.
"On top of Mike's dick," Alan added. Abby punched him in the arm and I smiled in thanks.
"Let's start then," I sighed.
I walked over to the tent and saw Ellie. "It's all done," she said proudly.
"It's great," Abby told her.
"Thanks," I smiled. Ellie took a seat at the back. Abby and I took our seats. I looked up and saw a teenage boy walking over.
"Kayleigh?" he asked weakly.
"That's me," I smiled.
"I'm Tom. Can you help me?"
"I can try," I said. I gestured for him to sit down. Tom sat in front of me and I handed him a form. "What do you need help with?" I urged.

As time went on out of the corner of my eye I saw Alan reappear for more food. He saw me watching and took a greedy bite out of his hot dog. I winced and my attention went back to the girl sitting opposite me. She's so young. Fifteen is what she told me. "I'm on my lunch," Abby told me. I nodded in acknowledgement and she went over to Alan with Ellie following her.
"How long have you been thinking that?" I asked the girl. She bit her lip and scratched roughly at the back of her neck.
"I don't know," she breathed.
"Try for me,"
"Maybe six months. It might be longer though," she reasoned.
"Okay, I want you to have clarity," I urged. "Close your eyes and put your head back. I want you to take a few seconds to think. Think hard for me," I told her. She nodded and closed her eyes. I put my head back as well, but to flex my neck. I saw one of our banners slipping down and frowned. The girl opened her eyes, but I wasn't looking at her.
"Kay'!" Abby screamed. I looked over and saw her pointing. The poles of our tent were slipping and falling. It was going to collapse. I pulled the girl up and pushed her out of the tent. Before I could get out the tent collapsed on top of me. I felt a pole smash into my face, first hitting my eyebrow and next crushing into my nose. It sent me falling down.
"Fuck," I breathed. Then another pole hit my shoulder before the banners fell on top of me and I couldn't see anything.
"Kayleigh!" Alan called. I couldn't see anything. I could just hear people shouting. The banners were pulled off of me and I groaned. I brought my hand to my face and touched my nose. Reluctantly I pulled my hand away to find blood. "Kay'!" Alan rushed again.
"Ugh," I moaned.
"You okay?!" Abby yelled. I sat up and pushed poles off of me. I saw Alan standing over of me with Abby.
"I'm fine," I mumbled. Alan pulled me up carefully and Abby dusted me off.
"You're not!" Abby exclaimed. "You're bleeding,"
"Did anything fall on your stomach?" Alan rushed.
"Yeah, not hard though,"
"Oh God," Abby muttered.
"I don't feel bad. I think he's okay,"
"Come on, I'm taking you to the emergency room," Alan urged.
"No," I shook my head.
"You have to, Kay'," Abby scolded.
"I just want to go to the bus,"
"Please," Abby tried.
"No, I'm going to the bus," I snapped.
"Are you okay?" Ellie asked. I looked around Alan and saw her standing anxiously to the side. I narrowed my eyes at her. Then I pushed Alan to the side.
"Are you fucking stupid?!" I demanded. I was standing in front of her glaring.
"I'm sorry!" she rushed.
"You're sorry? That makes everything better then!" I yelled sarcastically. "I don't care what you did to me! But you think it's fine to put the people who come to me for help in danger?!"
"I didn't mean to!"
"Because it's so fucking difficult to put up a tent. Abby and I have only managed it for years! And you know what's really pissed me off?!"
"What?" she mumbled.
"Not that you've fucked my face up. Or you've prevented the people that need me getting my help. You risked the life of my baby!" I screamed.
"You shouldn't have let me put it up!"
"Are you blaming me?! Now it's my fault?!"
"You go off climbing buses!"
"Don't you fucking dare!" I spat. I went forwards for her but Alan grabbed me. He held my waist tightly, keeping me in place. Abby came in front of me.
"Calm down," she soothed.
"You bitch! Go back home!" I spat.
"Take her to Mike," Abby sighed. Abby turned to Ellie and narrowed her eyes. "You stay away from her," she snapped. Alan carried me at first away. I struggled away until Alan was just leading me.
"You okay?" Alan asked.
"No," I moaned. "My nose fucking hurts,"
"Wait," he stopped me. He examined my face and sighed. "It's swelling up,"
"Has it stopped bleeding?"
"Mostly," he sighed.
"I hate her," I muttered as I reached the bus. I walked inside with Alan following me. Vic looked up and smiled, but then he saw my face.
"What the hell happened to you?" Vic rushed.
"Your fucking slut happened. If I see her I'm going to fucking ram a glass bottle in her face!" I spat.
"Mike!" Vic yelled. "What happened?" Vic asked again.
"She didn't set the tent up properly," Alan explained.
"Fucking hell!" Mike exclaimed. "Babe, you okay? What happened?" Mike came over to me and wrapped his arms around me. He held my face gently and frowned.
"Ellie set up the tent and it collapsed. All the poles fell on me. On my face," I explained. Mike grabbed some tissue and started to clean my face. "And on my stomach," I added. Mike stopped and crumpled the tissue up.
"Fuck!" Mike yelled and threw the ball in the bin.
"Mike," I sighed. He shook his head and came over to me. He lifted me up into the counter and tucked some hair behind my ear.
"Ellie said she's sorry," Vic said, holding his phone. Mike brought me some ice for my face.
"If your bitch makes Kay' lose the baby . . . I swear I don't care she's a chick, I'll hurt her like she's hurt My girl," Mike said through gritted teeth. I took Mike's face in my hands and stroked his cheek.
"If she does I'll end it," Vic said flatly. I smiled at Vic but stopped because of the pain. I looked at Mike and he carefully leant in to kiss me. I kissed him back and Mike pulled away, pressing the ice to my face gently.
"You'll be okay," he told me softly.

Notes

Hey! What did you think? Don't you hate Ellie? She's horrible. Do you think Kayleigh's okay? Will Vic break up with Ellie? :)

@Jokerdabae
It's no longer up! I had a block and only got one chapter in anyway. But One Hundred Sleepless Nights and Buiscuits, Senior Year and the Fuentes Family is something similar that you'll probably like, one is a Vic story, the other is a Mike one xx

Is the sequel link not working or is it just my stupid phone??
