- Austin's POV -
We had just got done playing one of our concerts for Warped Tour.
"Thank you Chicago!" I yelled into the microphone before sprinting off stage.
It's been 2 years since I found Gielle cheating on me...
I should've known.
She had been acting weird.
I haven't been on a date either.
I decided to take a walk.
But away from here.
I got away from the crowd and practically darted around the corner.
I've never been downtown...
Let's go there.
I came across an alley.
Misewell sit down.
Nobody is around here.
I wonder what it'd be like with Gielle here right now...
I threw a rock against the other wall.
My lip started to quiver.
Before I knew it, my face was buried in my hands and I was sobbing.
Hot tears ran down my face like a waterfall.
Then I heard footsteps.
"Hello?" a voice echoed.
My eyes widened and I quickly wiped my tears.
"W-who's there?" I choked.
The footsteps came closer.
"Hi.."
Her voice was light and soft
I looked over.
She had light, thin purple hair falling down her back and shoulders.
Big blue eyes, complimenting her tanned skin followed by a black septum poking out of her nose.
Her outfit was black leggings sticking against her long skinny legs and a short, plain gray shirt.
I snapped back into reality as she slid her back down against the wall beside me.
"Uh, Hey..." I looked down.
She's so gorgeous.
"I'm Julissa."
I could see her holding out a small, scrawny hand.
"I'm Austin."
I shook her hand.
It was cold and tiny compared to mine.
"Why are you here Austin?"
She seemed to never talk... normal.
Her voice is quiet.
"Just needed some time away from everything."
"Oh, I'm sorry if I'm bothering you."
"No, you're great company. Stay. Please?"
I put my hand on hers.
"I'd be glad to Austin."
She smiled.
What a beautiful smile she had.
"What do you do for a living?" she asked moving in front of me.
We were now facing each other.
"Well... I sing in a band."
I looked to the side.
"That's so amazing!" her face lit up.
"You're amazing." I smiled.
She sat up slightly and pulled me into her arms.
"Would you like to go somewhere... more decent?"
I laughed as I stood up.
"Oh, uh.. s-sure."
She blinked a couple times and looked at the ground.
"Where would you like to go?" I asked.
"Um... I don't mind. Anywhere."
She's so small. Why?
I wondered.
I looked around to see if there was a nicer place we could go.
"Do you want to go to Starbucks?"
"Um... what's that?" she gave me a side smile.
"What? You've never been to Starbucks?! I have to take you there!"
I grabbed her hand and we sprinted to the Starbucks a couple roads down.
