Work Monday morning was the last thing I wanted to do. The only 'work' I really had was editing a few shots from some shows ages ago.
"Avery? Can I see you a moment?" My boss asked. I shuddered and stepped into his office. This couldn't be good.
"What can I do for you?" I smiled, sitting down across from him.
"Adam Elmakias called." My boss Sean said. "He wants you to photograph with him."
I grinned, sitting up in my chair. "Seriously?"
Sean laughed. "You're the best we have, Avery. Don't be so surprised. I told him I'd continue giving you pay while you're working together. He would like to meet up to hash out the details."
"Sure." I nodded, taking Adam's phone number from Sean and heading out of the office. Monday just turned fucking awesome.

"It's great to see you. It's been ages." I smiled at Adam, meeting him for lunch.
"I know! My arch nemesis here." Adam laughed. Elmakias and Kerrang! photographers were definitely competitive.
"So, you want me?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You're the best in the game. After me, of course." He added. "I think this tour, what with so many different bands being on it, could use two photographers."
"Okay, so let's talk touring. I'll need a schedule of course, and what bands will be there?" I asked.
Adam smiled. "Pierce the Veil, All Time Low, and Of Mice & Men."
I choked on my drink. "Wow, lovely."
"We leave next week. Sorry for the late notice. It's just America we'll be touring for now, then at the end of the year after a break, we'll leave for Europe; Britain, Spain, Italy and France." Adam continued.
"Italy?!" I demanded. I could see my family again.
"Even Venice!" Adam grinned.
"I'm down. Totally up for it." I agreed, getting some paperwork from Adam. Even if I would have to pictures of Austin fucking Carlile at some point, I was beyond excited for this tour.
