" There! All done! " I leaned back and gleamed, this tattoo was a real beauty. I wiped away the excess ink and looked up at Austin. He stood up and looked in the mirror, and gasped.
" the Geisha girl is sick, dude!" He examined his neck, and when he went to poke it I slapped his hand.
"No touchy. Let it heal!" Austin started laughing, and I giggled when Alan walked in. He held the phone to his ear and had coffee in the other. He passed me and set in on the counter, gave Austin something then turned to me.
"One large Campfire mocha, dark chocolate with extra whip cream." I stared at Alan for a second, trying to figure out how he knew. Then i remembered freshman year of school, and my eyes watered a little. Only certain people knew my favorite drink.

"So Austin, what did you do after leaving Red Oak?" He turned to me and looked at me , tilting his head to the side.
"How did you know I went there?" Alan slapped his head and shook, and I rolled my eyes.
"One second. " I ran upstairs to my room, my apartment was above the shop. I grabbed a book off the shelf and brought it down. I sat next to Austin and opened up to a page , and showed him the picture, and the caption underneath:

He looked at me , then looked at the book, and back at me. He studied my face, then his eyes widened.
"Oh my god! Kota bear?!?!" I brought a palm up to my face, and when it successfully slid down my face I looked over at Alan on his hands and knees, in the praying position. I laughed and got up, putting the book on the counter. Austin got up and stood in front of me, noticeably checking me out.
"Dang girl, you got SEXY. Antonella was right. " I perked up at the mention of my little sister , and immediately got confused.
"How do you know her? You guys moved when she was little! " Austin kicked the ground and smiled.
"She stopped me because she knew you liked the band and she gave me your business card..." Alan got off the phone and came over.
"Dakota , I have a job. And I even have someone to take your place while your gone." Austin and I looked at each other , then at the Ginger standing in front of us.
"What ...?"
