"What's that uh.. favorite pick up line of yours?" The lady that was interviewing Austin asked. I just happened to be walking by and couldn't help but over hear.

Austin laughed, "well, I'll just be all like 'How much does a polar bear weigh?' and then they'll be like 'i don't know' so I say-"

"Enough to break the ice!" I yelled over, saying it for Austin.

"YES!" He cheered and Tino next to him started to whistle. "Oh my God that's my girlfriend!" Austin realized it was me and started laughing harder. "And that's why I'm dating her!" He laughed, before quickly running over and giving me a quick hug and kiss, a smile on his face.

"Go back to your interview!" I chuckled after a moment of Austin just smiling at me.

"Oh, right! Okay okay okay, I'll see you in 15," he said before quickly pecking my lips once more and running back.

I rolled my eyes while smiling, gave Tino a quick wave and then started to walk again, pulling out my phone while I did, starting to scroll through my twitter.

"@austincarlile: And this is why I love her.. #iactuallyamgoingtoabarbecue"

I laughed to myself as I saw Austin tweeted a picture of the text I sent him earlier. 'Are you going to a barbecue? because you look barbecute;)'. I guess he got the biggest kick out of that one, especially because we are going to a barbecue.. I think we're competing with who has the best pick up line now...

"Hazel!" Multiple voices cheered out my name, causing me to look up from my phone and shove it in my pocket as I walked over to the group of people under one of the tents, near the buses. A smile came over my face as I waved, Vic coming over to give me a quick hug before walking with me towards them.

I went around and gave hugs to Vic's band, besides Mike who just scowled at me, and the Sleeping With Sirens guys, having a small conversation before I was led over to meet other people. "This is Jack and Rain from All Time Low," I was introduced to them, giving hugs instead of handshakes.

"Yeah, I think I remember meeting you guys before, but I was too drunk off my ass to really remember," I said and they laughed.

"No I definitely remember you.. You're the girl who won the keg-stand contest that one time!" Jack said, and I nodded while bitting my lip, waiting to see how he felt about that, it seeming to be a bad thing to him with the silence he was giving off. "Which means you're awesome!" He laughed, throwing his hands up in the air before putting one around my shoulder while i laughed in relief.

"I'm glad to know thats what people know me by, not my music or anything," I teased and Jack smiled.

"Hey, at least people don't know you by your farts," he shrugged, keeping a serious face as he said it, making me laugh.

Jack started introducing me to the rest of the people that were sitting or standing around here while Vic started to grill on the barbecue. I'm not exactly sure what the occasion is, but a lot of the bands here decided to get together for a little cook out after all our sets, mostly because they all were buddies with each other.

Kush and Izzy finally showed up together, looking like sex, while Sammy had drifted towards the grill to talk and cook with Vic. I was currently sitting on a lawn chair chatting with Jack and Ryan from Yellowcard about movies when a pair of hands covered my eyes. "Guess who," Austin's voice chuckled, making me crack a smile as I grabbed his hands to pull away from my eyes before I leaded my head back, seeing him standing over me and looking down.

He had to lean down pretty far, but still did to connect his lips with mine for a moment. "Hey," I smiled up to him.

"Hey, you want a burger? I think they're done," he said and I looked up to see people starting to hand them out.

I nodded and then kissed the top of Austin's hand that I was still holding before he went over to get one. "How's it with Aussie?" Jack said in a girl voice, batting his eyes before he started to eat some of his hot dog that he got. "Is it as good as me and this hot dog?" Jack groaned before taking a huge bite.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "It depends, Austin doesn't normally eat me," I teased.

Jack's eyes widened and Ryan started cracking up. I was confused until it finally clicked in my head the sexual meaning of it and couldn't' help but start laughing with them. "Oh so you two aren't into that? Dang," Jack said and it took us all a minute to regain our composure back.

"That was so bad," I chuckled, then turned my attention over to Austin who was coming back over with food.

"Vic said he's sorry if it's cooked weird, he tried to shape the burger meat into a heart," Austin chuckled and handed me my burger.

"Thank you," I smiled and crossed my legs, setting my plate down on them as Austin took the open seat next to me and Ryan, almost immediately going into a conversation with him about Star Wars.

I was in mid-bite of my burger when I saw someone out of the corner of my eye sit next to me on the other side. I looked over with my mouth full to see Alan sitting next to me. He laughed, looking quite amused at the fact he caught me in the middle of stuffing my face. "You're cute," he teased and I flipped him off while finishing chewing and swallowing.

"Fuck you I'm hungry," I laughed and Alan stuck his tongue out at me.

Vic and Sammy had finished cooking at this point so with his now free hands, he turned on the radio low enough that people could still talk, but still hear it.

"Haze, heads up?" Austin asked and I smiled, nodding. Austin wasn't a huge fan of the small pickle slices on his burgers and I loved to steal them, so whenever he got them he'd give them to me, but this time he threw them up in the air and I opened my mouth, catching it. He had perfected his throws over time, so now we were the 'dream team' as he called it because Alan and Tino tried to do the same and could never beat us.

Jack and a few others started cheering once I caught them all in my mouth and Austin leaned over giving me a kiss after while we laughed. "That is love!" Jack exclaimed, making me smile bigger. "But I bet my secret lover and I could beat you."

"Oh no man, trust me, it's impossible," Alan huffed, making me giggle.

"Well they have never seen me and Alex try!" Jack sat up, and Alex who had at some time came over, was on board. "What do we get if we beat them?" Alex asked.

"Winner gets bragging rights, and loser has to drink that," Austin pointed to the cup of grease and other nasty things that were scraped and cleaned off the grill when Vic was done cooking. We all made a disgusted face at it, but then looked back to each other. "It's on!"

We moved so Austin was sitting across from me as Jack was from Alex, Austin and Alex having a hand full of pickle slices.

"The person who catches the most until you run out of pickles, wins," Vic, who had came over with a few other people, said. "Go!"

Austin and I moved to the edge of our chairs and he started to throw them underhand. I caught them in my mouth one after one, laughing as I saw Jack and Alex try out of the corner of my eye, but Alex's throws being way off.

I barely had time to chew and swallow each one because we were going so fast, so when Austin finished throwing all of them and I missed none, we both shot up and put our arms in the air, me letting Austin do the cheering with the rest of the guys that came over. "YEAHH! That's my girl!"

I chewed as he came over and wrapped his arms around me, spinning me around, starting to laugh in joy when I smiled. Once he set me down he pressed his lips down to mine, trying not to clank our teeth that were showing through our smiles.

"Unfair!" Jack pouted.

"You're just mad cause you lost!" I laughed, pointing at him. He huffed but then had a hard time keeping his face straight and started to smile, but covered it up by sticking his tongue out.

"Time to drink up," Vic, who had gone to get the nasty grease mixture, came over with two cups of it, handing it to them both. They both groaned, but everyone started chanting while Kellin was still recording everything. "Do it! Do it! Do it!"

Alex and Jack looked at each other before holding their noses and downing it all in one drink. Almost immediately after they were choking and running over to the trashcan spitting and possibly trying to get it out of their systems while everyone was roaring in laughter.

"Woo!" Austin and I went over, laughing at their faces of misery as we gave them hugs.

"Maybe you guys should practice next time," I teased and then Austin and I both laughed, watching them frantically search for something else to drink.

Rain came over to see what was going on and ended sparking up conversation with Austin while I went over to get a beer from the cooler, grabbing one for Austin too. He gave me a quick kiss on my forehead when I gave him his, but when I started looking around and spotted Oli a smile grew over my face. "Oli!" I called and ran over.

"Starr! How've you been?" He said as he pulled me into a quick hug.

"Good! Wow, I haven't seen you in like forever," I laughed, pulling away, but then noticed the girl standing next to him. She had short black hair with bangs and tattoos scattered around her. She was very pretty.

"This is my girlfriend, Hannah," he smiled and I looked over to her.

"Hey, I'm Starr, but mostly everyone calls me Hazel now," I chuckled and held my hand out which she shook.

"Nice to meet you," she smiled.

Oli excused himself real quick to go grab a beer, leaving me with Hannah. "I'm sorry that it took so long to meet you, I know you've been good friends with Oliver but for a while I just thought you were trying to get with him so I got a little jealous," she laughed shyly. "Then I saw you with your boyfriend and you two looked so happy."

"That's totally understandable, I'm just glad I got to meet you know, it's nice to see another girl.. there's a lot of boys around here," I smiled and she chuckled.

"Tell me about it! I've been living in a bus that smells like old socks and rotten food, not to mention how loud they are!" we laughed together.

"So how'd you meet Oli?" I asked.

"He came into my tattoo shop a while back, saying he liked my work," she smiled, remembering. "What about you and Austin?"

"I ran into him.. Like literally ran into him one day, nearly fell on my ass."

We talked for a little bit more and exchanged numbers, parting once Oli came back because they had to head out and he just wanted to say hi to everyone. It was nice to see him again.

I then went back to Austin who smiled when I came over, feeling pretty, or more than, content with everything.

hey guys, I'm so sorry it took me a while to update! This last week has literally been HELL!! Next week is going to suck too because it's finals week plus all my sports! I'll I want to do is write and it's so aggravating when I have to study instead! But I did slack off and get some done;)
