Two weeks later I found myself in Los Angles, and it was amazing. We had two days off after tonights show and Alan had promised me that we would go to the beach. So I had bought myself a bikini when the guys was busy preparing for a show. I had found a bikini with a aztec pattern in blue, purple and black with a nice pair of black panties. The only thing was that the top was a little bit to small but at least it covered my boobs. I was smiling like an idiot while taking care of the merch. I didn’t even care that a few girls called me a whore, called me ugly and accused me of sleeping with the band. I just smiled and asked if they wanted something. That only made them irritated and they walked away.
"Someone’s in a good mood" Anthony said and looked at me. I just smiled and made a victory sign. Jack shook his head and rolled his eyes, and attended to some girls instead.
"Can you tell me if the guys will be coming out to greet some fans?" a girl asked me.
"I don’t know actually, but I guess they will" I said and smiled.
"I really like your hair" the girl said and gave me a small, nervous smile. I knew what she was doing. Trying to be nice to me so that I might, maybe, ask if she wanted to come backstage and meet the guys. She was not the only one trying that. I just smiled and nodded.
"Thank you" I said and she walked away, looking a bit disappointed.

Next day Alan and Phil woke me up. I looked around and found myself sleeping on the sofa in the lounge, and not in my bunker. I grunted and tried to remember why I was here and not there. But nothing came to my mind… Maybe I just fell asleep here.
"Good morning sunshine, we are going out for breakfast and then we’re hitting the beach" Alan said and smiled. I almost jumped up from the sofa and hurried over to my bunker. I changed into the bikini, put on a pair of shorts and a big tee. Brushed my teeth and attended my really messy hair.
"So, who are going to the beach?" I heard Phil asking. Aaron was going and Yino, but it seemed like Austin wasn’t up for it. A little bit disappointed I frowned at my own reflection. Because well… I had taken a small liking to Austin. And I wanted him to come.
"Are you ready Chris? Because you are the reason we’re going to the beach in the first place" Alan asked and knocked on the bathroom door.
"I’m ready" I answered and walked out. I had put up my hair in a bun and I put on my sunglasses that was lying in the lounge. The others waited outside and when I out I could see that it wasn’t just Mice but the other bands as well.
"Let’s go to the beach, each, Let’s go get away" a few sang out loud and I laughed.

We all bought a light breakfast at a Starbucks and then took it to the beach. Apparently we were going to a more private place outside LA, and when Austin heard that he tagged along as well. To my pleasure because that made me smile like a little girl on Christmas. An hour later we finally arrived and we jumped out form the cars and looked around. It was really amazing and no people at all. The sand was almost white and the water really blue, and I just stared.
"You like it?" Austin asked when he saw me just staring. I nodded without saying a word.
They put out a few blankets to sit on and two really big parasols for shading. Then a few of the guys just pulled their tees of and ran over to the water. I laughed when they all jumped inside and started a small splash war.
"You’re not going in?" Alan asked and looked at me. I smiled and nodded.
"I’m going in, but…" I began and he looked at me.
"But what?" he asked and I could see that a few of the others that was still here looked at me.
"Before I go I need some help" I said and held up a bottle of sunblock. Alan rolled his eyes but said he would help me. I could do everything except my back by myself, and Alan helped me. When I was done I pulled of the tee completely and got a bit nervous. I liked my new bikini but still… I had a complex about my big chest, my wide hips and round bum. Because I knew that people would look.
"Don’t think about it" Alan said when he saw that I was nervous and covering me chest with my arms.
"I just…" I said but didn’t know what to say. How do you explain it.
"I know you have a small complex but hey… Today we’re here to have some fun, okay?" he said. I looked at him and then I nodded. I took a deep breath and I looked towards the others playing around in the water. Phil and Austin was looking at seashells, Dave Stephens and Aaron was having a jumping contest and the others just chilled in the water. Alan gave me a small push and I looked at him, but he was smiling and nodding towards the water. I smiled and we walked over together.

Austin and Phil both looked up when I came over and asked if they had found anything, and they showed me a few shells with big grins. I laughed and Phil gave me one. I looked at it and it was really pretty and pink. And shiny, it was really shiny.
"Hey Chris, come look at this" Alan shouted and I looked up. He was waving from the water and I hesitated before going in. The water was cold, but not to cold, and I almost screamed out. But I walked through the water and when I got over to Alan, Andy Glass and Dave the water reached up to my chest.
"What is it?" I asked and looked at them.
"Nah, we just wanted to see if you reached the bottom" he said with a grin.
"Very funny" I said and glared at him. He laughed and I had to smile. I was a little bit short. 5’3 to be exactly.
"You’re pretty short" Andy said and stood next to me, measuring my height against him. He was around 6 feet and I reached just up to his shoulders. I grinned and looked up at his face.
"Well, it’s better then being tall" I said and he looked a little bit curious.
"How come?" he asked.
"Well… I can always ask handsome guys for help if I can’t reach anything and people tend to find me cute because of my length" I said and laughed a little.
"It’s not your length that make you cute you know" Andy said and I got a little bit surprised, but he was looking the other way and he had begun talking to Phil when I looked at him. I looked at Alan and I could see a small smile one his lips. I splashed some water on him when he laughed at me for blushing.

I couldn’t really stay in the water because I felt that the sun was burning my skin. I was pale and just a few minutes in the sun and I would be red like a lobster. So I walked up from the water and dried my body with a towel, and I walked in under one of the parasols. I sat down and opened a bottle of water. It was nice seeing all the guys playing around and having a good time. Some built sandcastles, some looked for shells and some jumped around in the water. I laid down and looked at the red parasol. I was a little bit tired, because of the sun, and my head felt heavy. Maybe I had been to long in the sun.
"You okay?" someone asked and turned my head and saw Austin. I nodded slowly.
"Not really, but I just have to relax for a moment or two before I go jumping around again" I said.
"Sunstroke?" he asked and took a bottle of water himself. I nodded and he sat down next to me.
"I can see you got sunburned as well" he said and looked at me red arms.
"I sensitive to the sun" I whined and sat up.
"I can see that" he said with a small grin. I picked up some sunblock and put some on my arms, and I looked at Austin and asked if he could take my shoulders and back. He hesitated for a moment but then he took the small bottle and slowly massaged over my shoulders and back. It felt nice, really nice.
"Drink some more water" he said and looked at my half empty bottle. I nodded and picked it up.
"Thank you" I said when he finished. He gave me a smile and looked out over the ocean.
