This time I didn’t need a dress from Alexandra. I had bought myself a dress and it was a simple black dress. I shaved my legs and I put on yellow heels. Not to bright but not to dark yellow either. Like a perfect banana yellow. I looked at myself in the mirror and I nodded. I looked good. The only thing left was the curls in my hair and some light makeup.

Austin put his arm around my waist and let his hand rest on my hip. Alan, Tino and Phil walked beside us and we saw Alexandra just a bit up a head She looked stunning as always and she had a beautiful white dress on. I hugged her when she held out her arms and we both grinned.
"Nice dress" she said and looked at my black one.
"I like yours" I laughed and she giggled. the boys rolled their eyes and Austin looked at me with a small smile. I looked at him and grinned.
We made our way inside and Alexandra dragged me over to the bar. she wanted a few shots and I was up for a mini shot race. A few shots later we walked back to the others, giggling and with smiles on our faces.
"Someone is enjoying themselves" Austin grinned and looked at me.
"Well you’re back, my life is going well and everything is just perfect" I said and smiled.
"Don’t say that, something bad will probably happen because of that" Alan said and shook his head.
"Hah, like what? Everything is just perfect right now" I said and looked at him.

I was out on the dance floor with Alexandra, making my whole body warm and sweating a little. I was having fun and I could really feel that my life was finally getting better. I had a nice job, nice friend and the best boyfriend. I had a beautiful apartment and everything was just going my way. But the more I thought about it the more scared I got. What if something really would happen? Like Alan said. Alexandra looked at me and I shook my head.
"What?" she asked.
"I was just thinking about what Alan said" I answered.
"That something will happen? Don’t worry, nothing will happen" she said and smiled. I looked at Austin and he was talking to two girls. They giggled and tried to flirt with him but even I could see that he was brushing them off. He just talked with them and smiled sometimes, and a few times I met his eyes and he smiled at me. I just smiled back. I loved that man.

I was in the bathroom, taking a quick pee and taking a small breath. It was hot and my dress was getting… sticky. Maybe I should ask Austin if we could go home. I walked back out from the bathroom and glanced over the room. Looking for anyone that I recognized. Someone tried to flirt with me but I just shrugged them off and walked around to see if I could see anyone. Then I saw Austin and Alexandra, they stood by the bar and Alexandra held an arm around Austin waist. A little bit to close but I decided not to bother by it. There was nothing going on between them. then right before my eyes they kissed. Or Alexandra kissed Austin… they kissed.

And I walked away.
