I put on a new pair of skinny jeans and one of Alan’s tanks. Austin had told me it wouldn’t be anything fancy but just a simple dinner somewhere. So when I walked out from the bedroom he popped out from nowhere and it made me shriek a little. It was to sudden and he looked a bit surprised.
"Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you" he said.
"It’s okay… It was just a bit sudden" you said and breathed out. He smiled and you walked towards the door.
"I want you home by ten, and no funny business" Alan called before we got out.
"Yes mom" both me and Austin answered, and we both laughed.

Austin told me I could order anything from the menu and I got nervous. Why would he say that? I had problem to choose from the start and I didn’t want to pick anything to expensive or so. I sighed and he looked at me.
"Trouble?" he asked and I nodded. He smiled and took the menu from me and waved for a waitress to come.
"What can I get you?" she asked.
"We want the grilled sirloin, with the melted parsley butter and baked potatoes, to that we want some… hmm… I guess two really big cokes" he said and nodded. I stared at him. A bit impressed by his sudden take action. He then looked at me and smiled, ad I smiled back.
"So why did you take me on a date like this?" I asked and swallowed a little.
"Well… Even I could see that you didn’t want to spend time with that… ehm… girl… Don’t see this as anything special, I just wanted to save you" he said and nodded. Ouch, that hurt. Here I wanted it to be a real date.
I laughed a little and nodded, even though it hurt, and he smiled.
"So tell me… Who is this Melanie anyway?" he asked.

We met the others on the way back to the hotel and Alan gave me a small grin. I smiled and he looked at Austin. Austin was talking with Andy and Kyle. Alan walked over to me and he glanced at Austin when he asked:
"So… How did that go?" he asked.
"It was just him saving me from Melanie, it wasn’t anything special" I shrugged.
"What do you mean?" he asked and looked at me.
"As I said, it wasn’t anything special" I said.
Alan sighed and looked at Austin. Austin glanced at us and when he saw that both of us was looking at him he looked confused. I shook my head and Alan let out a small sigh again.

That night I stared into the wall as I tried to get some sleep. My mind was stuck on Austin. I already knew I had a thing for him and he showing me attention and taking me on “dates” was fun. But at the same time it scared me. Tour would be over soon, in a week to be exactly, and that meant that I would go back to my old life. I sighed and rolled over to my back, looking up in the ceiling instead. What if Austin is just like everybody else? Using me to get some attention and then when he find me boring… he just throws me away?

I didn’t want to think like this. But I did. Over and over again for hours. Tomorrow they would have a show again and that meant I would be a merchgirl again. And in a week I would be Crystal Reed again, the girl that tried to make her life be normal. I sighed again and rolled over to my side and looked into the other wall. I need to find something to do with my life.
I picked up my phone and saw that it was almost 5 in the morning. Which meant that it would be a long day tomorrow. Today… Something.

I held a coffee and tried not to snap at anyone that asked me if Austin or Alan would come out and say hello, and I tried not to snap at the girls commenting on my cleavage. I really tried. But maybe one or two comments left my mouth. Which made the girls angry. But no fight, I was lucky because there was no fight with them.

After the show Alan dragged me to a little bit more private room, and he gripped my shoulders.
"Okay, what’s wrong?" he asked and looked me in the eyes.
"Nothing" I said.
"C’mon Chris, I can see that something is bothering you" he said.
You looked at him and then you sighed.
"I just had a rough night, that’s all" I shrugged.
"Rough night?" he asked.
"I barely slept anything, nightmare" I lied and looked at him. He sighed and gave me a small hug.
"It’s okay Chris, everything will be okay" he said and I hugged him back.
