“Hey Chris, we’re going down to the pool… Wanna join?” Alan asked and walked into the small bedroom I had at the hotel. We had finally reached Phoenix and we had the afternoon off. I peaked out from the duvet and Alan looked at me. Then Phil and Austin turned up behind him and looked at me.
“C’mon Chris, let’s go down and chill by the pool” Phil said.
“Let me get changed, and someone help me with the damn sunblock” I muttered and curled up under the duvet. Phil laughed and Alan shook his head. He was just about to offer himself when Austin walked into the room and laid over the duvet and me.
“Wakey wakey Chris” he grinned when I screamed and tried to push him away.
“Don’t take to long” Alan said and dragged Phil away. He had figured out I had a thing for Austin.

Austin walked over to my toilet bag and picked up the bottle with sunblock. He then looked at me.
“C’mon, sit up and let me help you” he said and walked over to the bed. I looked at him and he looked at me with a “I’m waiting”-look. I sighed and sat up. Covered my naked boobs and pulled away my hair from my back. Austin’s hands against my shoulders was relaxing and I could feel how gentle he was.
“You okay?” he asked out from no where and I looked over my shoulder. Then I nodded.
“I’m okay” I whispered and looked down on my feet.
“Okay, where is your bikini?” he asked and looked around. I pointed towards my bag and he walked over and picked it up. He then looked at me as I stood there covering my boobs, in just my black hipster.
“I’m gonna wait outside” he said and gave me the bikini. I smiled and nodded. Austin was caring, and I watched him walk out from the room. I sighed a little and put it on, and then I pulled my fingers through my hair to get away the bed hair. I picked up my sunglasses and walked out from the small bedroom.
“Austin, do you have a big tee I can borrow?” I asked and looked for him. But I couldn’t find him. He was nowhere to be seen. Did he mean outside as in outside outside?
I shrugged and was just about to turn around again when I felt him behind me.
“Hold up your arms” he whispered and I looked over the shoulder. He made me look away and I sighed, and I held up my arms and waited for him to pull the tee over my head. But no tee came. Instead he pulled a beachdress over my head. It was a white dress with pastel peach dipdye at the bottom, and it reached down to my knees. It fit perfectly over my chest and around my waist, because it was stretch and the skirt was loose . It was completely in cotton and I turned around and looked at Austin. He smiled.
“It’s from me and the guys” he said.
“Why?” I asked and looked down at it.
“Well you can’t borrow our clothes on the whole tour” he said and put on his sunglasses.
He took my hand and we walked out from the hotelroom. I put on my glasses and I couldn’t help but to smile. I squeezed his hand a little and he looked at me, and I smiled some more.
“Thank you” I said and he just smiled, and then he leaned forward and kissed me. He broke free when we entered the elevator, and he smiled and pressed the button.
“No need to thank me” he said and wrapped his arm around me shoulders instead. I blushed a little bit I took my arm and sneaked it around his waist and leaned a little against his chest.

I sat down under the parasol. I didn’t really feel like jumping down into the water even though it was hot outside and the sun stood high. The others was playing around with the We Came As Romans people.
“Would you like a drink miss?” a waiter asked and I almost jumped a little. He excused himself when he saw that he had startled me. I just smiled and shook my head.
“It’s okay, and I would like a simple glass of water” I said and he nodded. Austin jumped up from the pool and I laughed a little when he pretended to be in a shampoo commercial together with Phil and Aaron.
“no more dandruff” Austin said and and swished his hair, and Aaron swished his hair and pulled it back with his fingers.
“With a soft sensation of freshness” he continued.
“Because you’re worth it” Austin said and pulled his hair back with a swing. I laughed and he smiled at me. The waiter came back with the glass of water and Austin jumped out from the pool and sat down on the chair beside me. He stretched himself a little and put his hands behind his head and looked out over the pool. Alan stood in front of me and was holding a towel, drying himself when I almost choked on my water. Both him and Austin looked a bit surprised.
“You okay?” Austin asked and I just stared at the other side of the pool.
On the other side of the pool, together with my ex best friend Melanie stood Derek. He was holding his arm around her waist and she giggled and blushed a little. Alan turned around to see what I was staring at. He didn’t know Derek but he sure knew Melanie.
“Melanie” he said and looked a bit worried at me.
“Melanie?” Austin asked and looked at her. I nodded.
“She was my best friend until I got boobs and she decided to hate me” I said and looked at him.
“What a friend” Austin said and rolled his eyes.
“And the other one…” I began and Alan looked at me.
“You know the guy?” Alan asked.
“That’s Derek” I said and glared at him trough my sunglasses.
“Derek… As in that Derek?” Alan asked and looked a bit surprised. I nodded and that was when he saw me. First he just looked at me and then he looked surprised. Then Melanie looked at me and even she looked shocked to see me here.
“Crystal?” she called and I forced on a fake smile.

Unlucky for me they decided to walk over here and she had a really huge smile on her face.
“Oh my god, Crystal it’s been ages” she said and hugged me. I didn’t hug her back but smiled.
“Yeah” I said and looked at Derek. He looked nervous.
“And Alan, oh my god… You’ve cut your hair” she said and tried to hug him. He backed and held out his hands.
“No offense Melanie, but I don’t do hugs” he said.
“Still boring Alan” she said and pressed herself against Derek. She smiled and looked around, and then her eyes fell on Austin. And I could see that she was checking him out, and she liked what she saw. She let Derek go and held out a hand to Austin and smiled.
“My names is Melanie, and I’m a friend of Alan and Crystal” she said.
“Austin” he said and shook her hand. I could see how happy she got from his reaction. Just a handshake for her was a first step towards getting him on her side. But the surprise in her eyes when he turned towards me and kinda ignored her was priceless. Then she looked a little bit angry.
“So Austin, how do you know Alan and Crystal?” she asked to get his attention back. He looked at her again and I knew that he knew what she was trying to do. Austin was smart.
“I’m in the same band as Alan” he said and smiled a little.
“You’re in a band?” she asked and looked a bit surprised.
“That’s the reason why we’re here” Alan said.
“What, you’re like… on tour?” she said and I just wanted to slap her in the face.
“Yeah, we’re on tour with two other bands” Alan said and nodded. He crossed his arms and he glanced over at me. But because of my sunglasses he couldn’t really read me.
“And what are you doing on tour then?” she asked me and I could hear that she laughed inside.
“Chris is taking care of the merchandise, and us” Alan said and she looked at him.
“This is Derek by the way” she said and smiled at Derek.
“We know” Alan said and gave her a small, cold, smile. She looked a bit surprised.
“I dated Derek a few weeks ago” I said and looked at Melanie. Now she looked really surprised and she looked at Derek, and he looked really nervous. He nodded.
“But I can see that you are doing fine” he said and looked at all the guys around me.
Andy, Phil and Kyle came up to us and they looked at Derek and Melanie.
“Hey Phil” Melanie said and Phil nodded as a greeting.
“We wanted to know if we’re eating here, or if we’re going out tonight” Andy asked and looked at me, Austin and then Alan.
“We could always go out and eat” Alan said and shrugged.
“Why don’t we join you guys? it’s been such a long time since I met Crystal” Melanie said and I shivered a little. Why would she want to come eat with us? But then I saw her eyes on Austin again and I knew. Austin glanced at me and then he took my hand, and he kissed my fingers in front of everyone.
“Nah, Chris and I are having a date” he said and he smiled at me. I looked a bit surprised and then I blushed a little, and I laughed on the inside when Melanie looked really shocked. And angry.
“Well that doesn’t stop us form going out as well” Alan said and looked at Austin. Austin grinned a little and winked at me, and I blushed again. Melanie was just about to say something again when Austin leaned towards me and kissed me on the lips.
“I can see that someone moved on” she muttered and looked at Derek.
