The three of us pushed and shoved to get to the front of the crowd, but I could already hear the band chanting something amongst themselves in the back before running out of the stage. The crowd roars, arms flinging in the air trying to reach up to the stage. I ran the signed photo through my fingers aimlessly throwing thoughts of him through my mind. Once I lifted my head back up I saw him. Alan's face flushed red as soon as he saw me in the front row. He threw an arm in the air and quickly strums down on the guitar's strings to warm up his instrument. The lead singer was talking to the audience but I was only focused on this ginger beauty before my eyes. Alan flashed me a quick wink, just at the moment Austin, the lead vocalist of the band, begins singing.

" I hope you know,
I swear I’ve never done this before,
And I care, I’m so sorry
Scarred you for life, please come back to me,
Down on my knees, repeating apologies

Alan's skin was glistening from the sweat, but I was so taken with him I just couldn't take my eyes off of him. His hair, his eyes, his lips, the muscles in his amrs, his body was just pure perfection. I couldn't help but fantasize of seeing more of him. The band played a handful of songs before going backstage for a short break. As Alan walked off the stage he blew a kiss my way. After what seemed like five or ten minutes Austin Carlile walked back to the center of the stage and announced that the band had one more song for us. I knew exactly what was coming. The song "Second And Sebring" was my favorite one.Callie, Matt, and I all sang along to the words and before I realized it, the set was over. I watched the band exit the stage. I was hopeful to see Alan again before leaving the venue but as soon as I spotted him he was drowned in fans. He caught my eye's attention, signalling me to call him later.

The three of us exited the building and began to walk through the crowd of people outside the door, trying to make my way to the car. Callie was driving through down town and noticed a new bar that had opened up fairly recently and suggested we go in for a drink or two. Matt and I agreed immediately and hopped out of the car once Callie parked. I can't believe I almost forgot to call Alan. After the three of us found seats at the bar I excused myself to the bathroom for a quiet place to call him.

"Hello?" A deep voice answered the line.
"Hi! It's Kate, You left me your number before the set tonight." I responded.
"Wow! I didn't think you would actually call me." He said with a cracked tone to his voice.
"I called wondering if you'd like to meet up tonight? My friends and I are at this bar not to far from the venue, if you're not too busy." I smiled to myself, fingers crossed behind my back.
"Sounds cool! Will your friends be there?" He asked.
"Yes they will. Feel free to bring anyone you'd like."
I finished and clicked the disconnect button.

I texted him the address to the bar and returned back to my friends. They could tell I was up to something. Callie begged me to tell her what I was doing gone for so long but I just brushed her off and ordered a drink. Twenty or so minutes pass and the door behind me chimed as a tall man entered the bar. He removed his hat and examined the room. My face lit up and I quickly waved him over. Callie and Matt were facing away and didn't see him until he sat down.

"Alan! Glad you could make it!" He interrupted me with a hug.
"Wouldn't wanna miss out on seeing such a pretty face." He replied as he flicked his finger lightly under my chin.

I blushed and reached for my drink. Callie kicked me under the table to get my attention and shot a confused, almost shocked look my way. I just winked back at her. The four of us got to talking almost instantly. Everyone was getting along great! Callie pulled out her phone and announced the time. Wow, 1 am already? The time flew by so fast! I didn't want this night to end just yet.

Alan leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Wanna come with me to my hotel room and talk a little more?" while lightly tracing his hand on my upper thigh.
"Absolutely."

I knew exactly what he was planning on doing with me. But come on... It's Alan freaking Ashby. I couldn't say no to him!
