The Pasts

The Wedding

When I woke up the first thing I saw was Mike's face on the screen of my phone. I bit my lip and nudged Abby. She woke up and saw too. I begged her with my eyes to answer the call. But she shook her head violently. "Please," I tried.
"No, you know it's bad luck," she said flatly.
"To see him. Not to talk to him,"
"I said no," she answered firmly.
"Can you talk to him for me," I asked.
"No,"
"Ab'," I whined. I started to shake her arm roughly and she sighed. "Fine," she snapped, holding her hands up in defeat. "Hello?" she asked, answering my phone.
"What did he say?" I asked quickly.
"It's not him," Abby told me. "Well, it's bad luck," Abby said into the phone.
"Who is it?"
"Vic," she explained.
"Put him on speaker," I said. Abby pressed a button and I heard the speaker come on. "Hi Vic," I smiled.
"Hey Kay'," Vic replied. "How you feeling?"
"Nervous and excited and terrified all at once," I grinned.
"When you say nervous, what state are you in?"
"What do you mean?" I frowned.
"Have you eaten or drank today?"
"No, I've just woken up,"
"Oh. Then are you moving? You're not sitting motionlessly on the sofa staring at a wall and refusing to get ready,"
"No, I'm not," I said cautiously.
"See, the thing is . . . Mike is," Vic muttered.
"Have you tried offering him some Jack. You know, Dutch courage,"
"Yeah, he turned us down. He isn't even smoking,"
"That's bad," Abby said.
"Can I talk to him?" I asked.
"Kayleigh," Abby warned.
"Hey, if she doesn't we might be holding the ceremony in my living room," Vic added.
"Fine," Abby shrugged.
"Thanks," I breathed. "Put him on," I told Vic. I turned the speaker off and held my phone to my ear. I heard movement.
"Kayleigh's on the phone, man," I heard Vic say. "She wants to talk to you,"
"Hello?" Mike asked.
"Hey babe. I miss you," I told him.
"I miss you too," he told me.
"Are you nervous?" I asked seriously.
"Yeah," he whispered.
"Why are you so quiet?"
"I don't want the guys to know I'm scared,"
"Vic knows,"
"How?"
"It's beyond me," I laughed. "Listen, I want you to be waiting for me when I get there,"
"I will,"
"You swear,"
"I promise," Mike told me.
"I need to get ready. Can you get ready and make sure the guys all match? And if my cousin is being annoying, hit him for me,"
"Okay," he laughed. "I love you,"
"I love you too," I told him.
"See you soon," Mike added.
"You will," I said smoothly. I hung up and placed my phone down. Abby looked at me and smiled.
"How is he?"
"So nervous," I laughed.
"That's sweet!"
"Yeah," I nodded. The door opened and Mum walked inside. She beamed at me. I got up out of bed and went to hug her.
"I can't believe it, Kayleigh. It's happening today,"
"I know," I smiled.
"I'm so proud of you," she told me.
"Thanks," I nodded.
"Everyone is awake. They're downstairs eating breakfast and all your family will go straight from their hotel to the ceremony," she explained.
"Okay," I nodded.
"Come downstairs, sweetheart," Mum urged. I smiled and walked out of the door. Abby and I followed Mum downstairs. We walked through the sitting room and into the kitchen. Sat at the breakfast bar I saw Marissa, Vanessa and Cassandra. Then I found Matty and Alan sat on the counter. I jumped up on the counter too in between them. Matty wrapped his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Okay?" Matty asked.
"Nervous," I replied quietly.
"You'll be fine," he reassured me.
"Eat," Mum ordered and passed me plate of three sweet rolls and a mug of coffee.
"Thank you," I smiled. I started to eat and Alan watched me.
"Is that all you're eating?" he asked.
"Traditional Spanish breakfast," Mum told him. "You need to start getting ready, Kayleigh,"
"I will," I agreed. I finished my food and put my plate in the sink. "I'm going for a shower," I said. I got up and made my way out of the room. I went upstairs to the bathroom and switched the shower on. I got in and took my time. When I had finished I got out and wrapped myself up in a towel. I walked out of the bathroom and into my bedroom. I saw my dress hanging on the door and let my fingers glide across it. I put on a dressing gown and started to dry my hair. When I was done I heard someone walk in. I looked around and saw Mum wearing a olive green tailored dress with matching shoes. "You look lovely," I told her.
"Thank you," she smiled. "Shall we do your hair and make up?"
"Sure," I nodded.
"I'm here," Abby said. She walked over to us carrying a make up bag. she stood in front if me and got her things out. I looked in the mirror as she brushed foundation over my face. She put blusher on my cheeks and highlighter on the bones. Then she did my eyes and brushed some gel on my lips. Mum came over to me and brushed my hair through. She started to do small intricate braids until she wound my hair up into a loose bun on my head. She added a few jewelled grips and a cream veil and stood back to admire her work. "Ready for the dress?" Abby asked excitedly.
"Yeah," I grinned. We walked into the middle of the room and Mum got my dress down. I took my dressing gown off then stepped into it and they helped me. Mum started to lace it up at the back. When it was done Abby gave me my shoes. I was about to drop my dress when Mum stopped me. She showed me a garter. She slipped it on my thigh and I dropped my dress. Mum straightened it and they stood back. "What time is it?" I asked.
"We have time," Mum reassured me.
"I'm going to get my dress on," Abby said and left us.
"Shall we go downstairs?" I asked.
"Yes," Mum replied. She held my dress as we walked out of my room and downstairs. I walked into the sitting room and saw everyone ready and waiting. I saw the girls in their dresses and Abby walk in ready. I put a hand to my mouth and gasped.
"You all look of beautiful," I said. They turned to me and beamed. Vanessa and Marissa came to give me a hug. I smiled at their dresses and hair. Then Cassandra came up to me and embraced me.
"You're perfect," she told me.
"Thank you," I said.
"Naah! My girl looks hot!" Alan exclaimed. "I'd put a ring on it," Mum looked at him pointedly and I laughed. "Sorry, Ms Playa," he shrugged.
"Thanks bro," I grinned. I opened my arms for him and he came to hug me. He lifted me off my feet and set me back down. "Looking fly," I said, examining his suit.
"I am fly," Alan said seriously.
"Where's Matty?" I asked.
"With the cars,"
"So we're really going?"
"We're going," Abby confirmed. We made out way to the door. Everyone walked out and I followed. I saw Matty help the bridesmaids, Alan and Mum into a car. I waited for him and he turned to see me. He stood back and grinned. I smiled widely at him and started walking. He came to me and picked me up in a hug. He spun me around and I laughed.
"Put me down," I giggled.
"Okay, okay," he said and placed me on my feet. I turned and saw the first car driving away. Matty put his arm out for me and I took it. We walked to the car and he opened the door for me. He helped me inside and got in too. The car started driving and I rested my head against Matty's shoulder. "You okay?" he asked seriously.
"I'm so scared, Matty," I told him.
"You will be. But you want to marry him, right?"
"I do," I nodded. "There's just all this stuff going on and I can't believe I'm doing this. It's just so weird,"
"Is there something else?" he asked cautiously.
"Yeah," I nodded. "Don't tell anyone. We're telling people after the wedding,"
"What?"
"I'm pregnant," I breathed.
"Really?!" he gasped. I smiled widely at him and he pulled me into a hug. "That's fantastic. Oh God! Congratulations!"
"Thank you. We're telling everyone after the honeymoon,"
"And you're happy?"
"Yeah. And Mike is. It's great," I explained.
"That's brilliant!" Matty exclaimed. I looked out of the window and saw a large Victorian house. Matty took my hand and squeezed. We got out of the car and started walking for the door. Someone met us and led us inside. We stopped outside the hall seeing people waiting on front of a set of closed doors. Mum came over and kissed me on the cheek before going inside. The bridesmaids lined up and I turned to talk to Matty. But I felt someone hug my middle. I looked down and saw my little cousin, Jerico. I bent down to talk to him.
"You look so handsome," I smiled.
"Thanks, Kay'," he grinned. "You look like a princess," he added.
"You look like a prince," I laughed. He pulled away and ran away to line up. I saw Jaime, Vic, Tony and Mike's brother Frank. They saw me and hurried over. They stared at me and I shrugged. "You okay, guys?" I asked.
"You look so beautiful," Vic said. He pulled me into a hug and I smiled. We stayed that way for a minute and he squeezed me.
"Thanks," I finally told him.
"Come here," Jaime said. I hugged him tightly.
"You're great," Tony told me. I turned to Frank and smiled.
"How're you? I haven't seen you for a while," Frank said.
"I'm okay now. I just want to do it," I said.
"How is he?" I asked Vic.
"He's absolutely shitting it. So nervous," Vic laughed.
"Ready?" a woman asked. I nodded and we got ready.
"I'll see you soon," Vic said and squeezed my hand. He walked inside and the doors closed behind him. Jerico lined up at the front with Vanessa. Then Marissa and Jaime behind them. I saw Jaime bend down and kiss her cheek.
"Hello beautiful," he grinned and Marissa giggled. Cassandra and Frank went behind them. Then Alan wrapped his arm around Tony's.
"Hi babe," Alan told him. I laughed and Alan kissed Tony full on the lips. "I hope you're going to buy me dinner. I'm not easy," he said seriously.
"Come on," Matty said. We stood behind Tony and Alan. I linked my arm with Matty's. We stood there a minute until the doors were opened. I could hear Thank You For Loving Me by Bon Jovi playing. The people in front of me walked down the aisle. After a moment Matty and I walked down. We walked slowly and after the bridesmaids and ushers had shifted I saw Mike standing next to Vic. I gasped at the sight of him. He was dressed in a smart black suit with a white shirt and red tie. I could see the tattoos on his hands and neck. Everyone broke away and I stopped in front of Mike. Matty placed my hand in Mike's and patted him on the shoulder. Matty and Vic sat down leaving Mike and I. He leant over to me and kissed me on the cheek.
"You look so beautiful, Kayleigh. I'm so fucking lucky," he whispered in my ear.
"You're so perfect," I said quietly.
"Can we please be seated!" the woman called. I looked at Mike and smiled softly. 'I love you' he mouthed.

After the ceremony I was beaming. Mike leaned over to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he took my waist. He pressed his lips to mine and I kissed him back deeply. He trailed his finger down my spine and I kissed him passionately.
"Do you love me?" I asked.
"Always," he replied warmly. "Do you love me?"
"Always," I replied and reached up to kiss him again.

Notes

Hey! This is the final chapter of this story. There will be a sequel, I'll post an update when that's posted with a link for you. Thank you so much for sticking with me and reading this! Let me know what you thought! I'd love to hear from you all.

I haven't updated because I've been having an awful time. My depression an EDNOS has got bad again. My manager and senior found out at work. And I went to see Sleeping With Sirens but nearly passed out! I'd only eaten a little but I felt so sick and missed the entire concert because I was in the medic room! I am so fucking upset about it!

But anyway, there's my excuse :p thanks again guys!

@angiewhiskeyhands
It stands for Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. My weight hasn't dropped to Anoriexia yet.
I'm still gutted though! Music is one of the only things that keeps me going and I couldn't be there for it. I heard about Jesse leaving :( x
What's EDNOS?

Also, honestly, Kellin isn't good live. The band is but he isn't. I guess that doesn't matter any more though since Jesse left the band yesterday.. :x
