The Trouble

The Suspicion

Mike kissed me roughly on the lips. I dug my nails into his back, leaving long scratches. I heard him moan loudly. Then I smiled as he pulled out of me and climbed off of me. He rolled the condom off, tied it and threw it somewhere in his bunk. Mike lay next to me and I kissed him softly and he closed his eyes contently, drifting off to sleep. I grabbed my clothes from the end of the bed. I started to get dressed and opened the curtain. I jumped down from Mike's bunk and closed his curtain. Then I walked into the front lounge, where Jaime, Tony and Vic were sat. They all grinned at me and I frowned. "Where's Mike?" Vic asked.
"He's sleeping," I told them.
"Must be tired out," Jaime laughed.
"Worked up a sweat perhaps?" Vic offered.
"Leave her alone," Tony warned.
"Yeah, shut up," I added. "You can't talk, Jaime,"
"What do you mean?"
"Jess told me about the empty tour bus incident,"
"She wouldn't," he defended.
"You didn't even notice until you saw the pile of clothes in your bunk were womens," I laughed.
"Her and Jess talk. You should watch out, man," Vic grinned.
"Anyway, I need to talk to you," I said.
"About what?" Tony questioned.
"Is Mike acting a little strange?"
"He's a strange guy," Jaime shrugged.
"I mean has he been jumpy? Like he's hiding something,"
"Besides the fact he's having sex in his bunk, no," Vic replied.
"I mean when someone calls him does he look worried?"
"For Christ's sake! No, Kay', he doesn't," Vic sighed.
"Why?" Tony asked seriously.
"He's just been not answering his phone around me,"
"It's probably nothing," Tony said.
"Can you talk to him, Vic?" I asked.
"And say what?"
"I don't know. Ask to check his phone. But make it less obvious,"
"How can you ask to check someone's phone without it being obvious?"
"You're his brother. He listens to you," I said.
"He doesn't," Vic laughed.
"Please," I tried.
"Fine," Vic shrugged.
"I have to go. I've got a phone appointment before I meet this girl on Monday," I explained. "And just talk to him Vic," I said.
"See you, Kay'," they told me.
"Okay, bye," I said. I walked off of the bus and headed back to my bus. I knocked the door and Abby answered. She smiled and let me in. I sat down on the sofa and she threw me a bottle of water.
"How was Mike?" she smirked.
"I'm so paranoid, Ab'!" I exclaimed.
"What?"
"Mike's been hiding his phone from me and I have no idea why. I've even recruited Vic, which will end horribly,"
"As your counsellor, not something I recommend," Abby thought.
"And as my best friend?"
"I say hack that bastards phone," she grinned.
"Do you think. . . ?"
"No," she shook her head.
"You sure?"
"Definitely not, Kay',"
"Okay," I sighed. My phone started ringing and I looked down. I saw who it was and showed Abby. She nodded and got her laptop out to work. "Hello, Kayleigh Playa speaking," I said, sounding professional.
"Hello, I have a phone appointment," a female voice said.
"Of course. How are you tonight?" I asked, letting the woman talk.
