I didn't want to be here, alive. I thought for sure that it would work. I did a little mental math on the amount of pills i took. I knew that there was enough there to kill me, especially with the alcohol mixture. So why didn't i die? I sighed as i turned the hospital bracelet on my wrist.

I read aloud. I sighed as i reached across the night stand to the stereo the hospital provided. I turned on one of the CD's Austin brought. Story of A Girl began playing. I hummed along.
