Austin’s POV

Once again I found myself staring at her when she was sleeping. She looked so calm and relaxed, and I smiled for myself. She was truly something. But something worried me. She went back and forth from looking scared to smiling and looking happy. Like something was troubling her, and she sometimes forgot about it. What was it? Was it really just the fear of thought of failing her fans, or was it something else?

I woke up and the first thing I saw, again, was Austin brown eyes looking at me. He smiled when he noticed I had woken up. I smiled and moved just a little bit closer, and he chuckled and moved his arm around my shoulders. He pulled me closer and kissed me cheek, and looked out the window.
"I have another surprise today" he said and looked at me again.
"Another surprise?" I asked.
"I think you will like this" he winked.

He asked me to put on my bikini again and I knew that it had something to do with water again. I wondered what it was but how much I asked he didn’t want to tell me. I frowned and looked out the window while he continued to drive. He chuckled over my frowning face and kept a small grin the whole drive, before he finally stopped. I looked out and had no idea where I was. I could hear splashing and the sound of… Was that dolphins? I turned around and stared at Austin and he had a huge smile on his lips, and looked amused.
"Dolphins?" I asked, and he nodded.

Austin had taken me to a waterpark where you could swim with dolphins. It felt amazing just being in the pool and having two dolphins swimming around me, but what was most fun was doing all the tricks with them. Austin took pictures and laughed when I fell into the water, but I laughed as well and I had so much fun. It was awesome and amazing, and I had never experienced such joy before.
"Come on mermaid, we’re heading out to eat something" he said and helped me up from the water. He helped me take off the life jacket I had on and then he kissed my temple.
"Glad to see you so happy" he said.
"Thank you Austin, for bringing me here" I said and hugged him. He chuckled and hugged me back.

Austin placed a plate with food before me. Fried vegetables with some tofu. And a big glass of lemonade with tons of ice.
"Does that look okay?" he asked, and sat down across the table from me.
"It looks amazing" I said and started to eat. He smiled and turned to his own food.
"I can’t believe you actually like tofu" he said and looked at my food.
"Tofu is good, really good" I said and smiled. He shook his head and frowned a little.
"I can eat pretty much everything, but tofu is one of the things I don’t really like" he said.
"I didn’t like it at first either, but I learned to love it" I said and looked at him.
"Learned to love it?" he asked.
"The same for avocado, I used to hate avocado but now I can’t go a day without having one" I shrugged.
"You’re weird" he said and chuckled.
"So what are you going to do when you get back?" I asked and looked at him.
"We have a new tour coming up, with We Came As Romans and Like Moths To Flames" he said. I nodded and he smiled.
"We have a tour with All Time Low and You Me At Six" I said.
"Oh, nice" he said and nodded.

The week ended way too fast and suddenly we packed our bags to go back to the mainland. Austin looked out the window as we sat down on the plane and I leaned against his shoulder. Now it would be two months without meeting him, only phone calls and texts.
"What are you thinking about?" Austin asked and looked at me.
"That I will have to go two months without seeing you" I said.
Suddenly it appeared to me. Two months. Without seeing him. What if I collapsed? What if I didn’t wake up and didn’t get to see him?
"Hey, relax. I will call you every day" he said when he saw my panicked face. He softly kissed me and I forced on a smile.
