Austin’s POV

She slept through the entire flight to Hawaii and it was fun to see her so relaxed. Lately she had this hard stone face and barely smiled, but when she slept she had the same face I knew. A relaxed face and no worries.
We landed and I gently woke her up and she looked around. She mumbled something about being alive, and then she looked at me. She smiled and I pecked her lips.
"We’re here" I said and she looked out through the window.
"I’ve never been to Hawaii" she said.
"Then I’m going to show you a few places, and take you on amazing dates" I said, and poked her cheek. She giggled a little and looked at me, and then she stood up and stretched her body.

The first thing we did was to go and check us in at the hotel, then Austin made me change into my bikini because he wanted to go and have some fun in the water. I did as he requested, put a sundress over my head and walked out to the small little lounge we had and he smiled.
"Come on then" he said and waved with some car keys.
"A car?" I asked.
"I rented a car for us, and the place we’re going to are a bit away" he said.
"it is?" I asked, a bit surprised.
"Yes it is" he said as we jumped into the car.

Austin drove for about 30 minutes before we reached the place. He stopped at a parking lot and there was no other cars here.
"We have to go through the jungle for a bit" he said.
"Okay" I said and he could hear that I was skeptical.
"It’s okay" he said and took my hand. We started to walk and after about 20 minutes a place opened up before me. A waterfall, and one very big pond. I wouldn’t even call it a pond. Flowers in all kinds of colors and crystal clear water. Austin pulled off his tee and jumped into the water. He yelled when he came up and said the water was cold, but refreshing. I hesitated and just stared, and then I sighed. I pulled the dress over my head and ran, and jumped into the water. FUCK IT WAS REALLY COLD.

I gasped for air when I came up and Austin laughed. I splashed some water on me and I screamed a little, but laughed as well. It was fun being with him and I felt love. Why had I never, like never, felt like this before? Was it meant for me to find Austin and be with him?

Austin lifted me up and put me over his shoulder, and I let out a screaming laugh when he threw me down in the water. A sharp pain came through my neck and I coughed under water, which of course made me swallow water. I struggled to get up when I felt two hands lift me up. Austin looked worried and amused at the same time.
"You okay?" he asked.
"I swallowed some water" I coughed and looked at him. He smiled and refused to let go off me. Holding me over water so I could breath. Which of course was really adorable but I couldn’t get anywhere and my neck and throat was killing me. Austin most have noticed because he looked at me with a confused and worried look.
"Does it hurt?" he asked.
"Just the shock from cold water in my lungs" I said and gave him a weak smile. He looked at me but it seemed like he accepted that answer. Slowly he started to make his way, with me, back to the shore and he helped me up before he got up himself. I took deep breaths and looked out over the water. Austin sat down beside me where I laid down and closed my eyes.
"You do know that you can tell me everything, right?" he said and looked at me.
"I know" I said and looked at him.
"Well I know that there is something troubling you" he said. I looked at him and swallowed.
"Tell me, please" he said and looked at me with caring, but sad eyes.
"It’s nothing really… It’s the same as last" I whisper.
"You still worry about your fans thinking you failed them?" he asked. I looked at him and nodded. It killed me to lie to him, but what could I do? I couldn’t just say "Well Austin. I have a tumor on my vocal cord and might die tomorrow. You okay with that?".
"t’s just beating me up a little, I think it will pass" I said and sighed. The pain in my neck and throat was pretty much gone now. Austin looked out over the water and the waterfall. He looked like he was thinking.
"Just promise me that you will tell me everything" he said and looked at me again. I smiled and nodded.

I hate myself for lying.
