Austin left the bedroom with a cute smile as I slid out of the bed. I headed towards the bathroom and waved my hands in front of me as billow of steam rushed to greet me. Austin had left the shower running so I could climb straight in.

The water stung my skin for a few moments before my body adjusted and I ran a bar of soap over my wet skin. The door opened and Austin jumped up to sit on the counter that was opposite the shower. He was eating something, I wasn’t quite sure what it was but he seemed to be enjoying it.

“What are you eating?” I asked as I washed my hair.

“I don’t know. It was on the breakfast tray.” He said around a mouthful and I shook my head at him. I wrapped a towel around my body before stepping from the shower. Austin hopped from the counter and pulled me into his arms.

“I’m wet.” I said to him as I tried to keep my body from touching his dry clothes.

“Not yet you’re not.” He growled to me and ran his hands down my back with a grin. I shook my head at him again and disappeared into the bedroom to choose what clothes I was going to wear.

“No sex, angel?” Austin asked with a dramatic sigh as he flopped backwards onto the white sheets.

“We done it four times on the plane and once when get here. I’m a bit painful.” I said as I chose my underwear and tossed them on the bed next to him. I then headed into the walk-in dresser and looked at the selection there was.

“Austin?” I called and he popped his head around the doorframe.

“Yeah?”

“What should I wear?”

“It’s hot out today so wear this.” He reached over my shoulder and pulled a white and red sundress off the hanger and slung it over my shoulder. He then bent down to get a pair of wedge heels. I took both items of clothing and walked back towards the bed.

“Austin where is my underwear?” I noticed there wasn’t any on the bed and he came out of the walk in closet with a smirk on his face.

“I didn’t want you to wear those ones.”

“Then what ones?” he tossed me a black set. The bra was lace and satin threaded together and the panties were just pure lace. I gave him a ‘really’ look and he waggled his eyebrows at me as he sat on the edge of the bed to put his shoes on.

I shrugged out of my towel and slipped into the underwear. Austin grabbed me by the waist and tugged me to stand in between his legs. He titled his head up and I tilted my down to see him.

“Do you realise how much I love you?”

“I love you, too.” I bent down and kissed his forehead. I slid from his arms and stepped into the sundress that was on the bed.

“Will you zip me up?”

Austin stood and gently tugged the zipper up my back and brushed my hair over my shoulder to kiss me on the back of my neck. I leant back against him and he ran his hand down the front of my dress and stomach. I wasn’t sure why Austin loved me but I’d decided to actually believe him.

“Let’s go before I throw you down on the bed and fuck you into next week.” Austin husked into my ear and handed me my bag as I pulled my shoes on. Austin had hired a car for the week we were here and I was grateful that we weren’t going to have to rely on taxis.

Austin drove us to a little market in the centre of Venice and I just couldn’t get over the beauty of the city. It was stunning. The buildings were so old I feared they were going to crumble and fall around me but they didn’t.

“Where first, love?”

“Over there.” I pointed to a small stall that was selling handmade jewellery. I pulled Austin along with me, his hand linked with mine. The jewellery was unique and amazing. There was a heart necklace made of stone and glass, with wire wrapped around it. It was supported by a long silver chain.

“It’s beautiful.”

“Tu sei il bello.” The Italian man said from behind the counter. My face flamed in embarrassment.

“She is the beautiful one.” Austin said with a glare towards the man. I lifted the necklace from the box it was in and turned to show Austin.
