If You Were A Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack
"Ma'am, sir, you have to leave."
"No! I am not leaving my brother!!!" Andy tried to loosen their grip on his shoulder, but it was no use.
"Sir, your brother probably did not survive the crash."
"Probably. Then go fucking look! That's my baby brother!" I sigh and looked back at Kellin. He was seated on the edge of the ambulance in shock state. He's been in shock for the past ten minutes. Shaking and rocking himself while muttering words like Copeland, Death, and other words. It all happened so fast, that I still can't wrap my mind around what happened. My best friend, my rock, my everything, just risked his life for me and now he's down there somewhere. I refuse to believe he's dead. If he can be knocked into a coma for three months and come out of it without any memory loss like the doctors said he would, then he can survive this. He's strong and I will not let him die.
"Sir, you have to come with us. You and your friends have injuries that can't be ignored! Your friend with the black hair is in a shock state and we don't know if he's ever coming out of it! Your friend-" He yells while pointing a finger at me. "Has three broken ribs, one of which that could puncture her lung! And you," He snapped pointing his finger at the now pissed as ever Andy's nose. "Have burn marks on your hands and a gun shot wound so please get in the ambulance sir!" Andy opened his mouth to argue when a nurse came over and stabbed a needle into his neck. Andy's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he drop dead to the ground, landing with a huge thump. My eyes widen and I lounged for the paramedic.
"What did you do to him!!!" I yelled while glaring at the nurse.
"It's an ascetic. He's knocked out so we can tend to his injuries."
"You have to find Devin first."
"NO! I don't want to hear it! Take Andy and Kellin to the hospital and you get your men to go into the goddamn dam and find my friend NOW!" I yell. I felt a small poke in my stomach. I turned around to make sure that nurse didn't stab me with a needle. Instead, they we're loading Kellin and Andy into the stretchers and the doctor was talking to the fireman who had other firemen going down towards the dam.
Then was was that poke feeling?
"Ma'am?" I turned and saw the nurse looking at me with weary eyes. She motioned for me to hold my arm out. When I did, she stabbed a needle into it.
"What are you doing?!" I yelled. My eye lids became droopy and I wanted to sleep, but I had to stay awake. For Devin.
"Ma'am, don't fight the medicine." I ignored her commands and began to walk. I wobbled for a second before I fell to my knees. The paramedic came towards me, but I pushed her away. My arms feel like jelly and my knees feel like lead. My head started pounding with this excruciating pain and I saw black splotches in front of me. "Ma'am, please, fighting the medicine won't be good for your health!" And I black out.
When I woke up, my arms no longer felt like jelly and I could feel my legs. I sat up and looked around. I was in the hospital (no surprise there) and I wasn't alone. His skin was losing color he looked like hell, and even his tattoos looked like they were fading.
"Kellin??" He ran over to me and kissed me. I didn't kiss back because I'm confused as to why he's here.
"There's something you need to see." He helped me up and try to put me in a wheel chair.
"I am not getting in that."
"But you just had surgery! Your ribs need to heal and you need to see this!" I groaned but got in the chair. Kellin ran with lighting speed to the otherside of the hospital in the Intensive Care unit. We got into an elevator and went to the fourth floor and into a room at the end of the hall. Kellin knocked on the door and a muffled voice said Come In. Kellin rolled me in and I saw Andy standing. He had a cast on his arm and his hands were wrapped. But he was crying. In the bed was a person who had a leg up in a cast, arm in a cast, well, let's just say he's in the not so best condition. The heart machine did the steady beep, letting us know the person is alive. I really hope this isn't Jimmy or Jeff.
"Kellin, who is this?" Andy stepped aside and Kellin rolled me closer. I took one look at the face and started to cry. I can't believe it, I really can't. He's here, broken, near death. But, he's alive.
